Great scope
I mounted one on my Taurus 44 mag and another in mu Ruger 357. Excellent eye relief and very clear picture. It holds very well the recoil of the 44 mag.

This one is worth it
Tried one of the cheap pistol scopes. Sent it back. Got this. It's a keeper. Great eye relief. One thing, the focus lock ring was very tight. Called Burris, they said that isn't rare and to just honk on it. Needed a tool to break it loose.

Clear
Usually spend a lot more on scopes but this is really about all that is out there in a pistol scope now. Fairly clear but worthless above 4x due to narrow site picture. Overall decent. Will have to see if holds zero under magnum loads.

Working great. Holding Zero on 454!!

Worst pistol scope
It has short eye relief compared to other extended eye relief scopes I have. The parallax does not seem to do anything. The target is very blurry at 100 yards. I would never buy this scope again. Even other burris pistol scopes i have used seem much better than this model.

Great scope for the serious handgun hunter
Great scope for the serious handgun hunter, long-range handgunner, or scout rifle shooter. Eye relief, even at 12x is about perfect for me. Flawless finish, amazing optics. The only thing missing from this optic is decent adjustment turrets. They are finger adjustable and the clicks are distinct and audible, but target-type turrets would have been much more useful. At this price that should have been a standard feature. And the way they're marked make it all but impossible to return to a previous setting without counting clicks. The marked divisions are pretty much useless. My biggest gripe is Burris' love of using dark green markings on the power and parallax rings. This is typical for most Burris scopes. The markings should be a contrasting color, like white, for quick setting and reference. Other than those two items and the price, a wonderful pistol/scout scope.

Like the long eye relief.
Fits and looks good on my Super Blackhawk.

Great Scout scope
This scope replaced a cheap 4X LER scope on my Ruger Scout. With normal ball ammo, I was holding 2 MOA at a hundred yards. Now, with the same ball ammo, I am holding between 0.75 MOA and 1MOA at 100 yards. To say I'm happy is an understatement. With the adjustable power, I have a lot more versatility when using the Scout. I'm not shy any more in taking long-range shots. If the target is within 500 yards, the odds are greatly increased that I will be able to knock whatever it is down.As for durability, I've only put 150 rounds of 7.62/.308 downrange, so I can't really comment on how well it's going to hold up.
