Great practice cards.
Brilliant cards, well used, not as good as having a rememberall(!) but possibly a close second!

Good content but very small format
Used in tutoring. The content is very helpful, but the text, code and flowcharts are really tiny. This would be much better on larger cards. It's only suitable for students and teachers with good eyesight.

Great for IGCSE Edexcel Computer Science
I am doing IGCSE Edexcel Computer Science, and it’s very hard to find resources to help me. However, this is great. It’s even better with the book version. I am very pleased.

Great for a little and often revision
The media could not be loaded. The video goes into much more detail, including a quick 20-second demo of how to install Python on Windows followed by a more in-depth analysis of the cards themselves. However, in a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Great for a little and often revision - the best kind.+ Very well structured - takes you step by step through what you need to know from basic question answering to creating your own scripts and applying the knowledge.+ The QR codes that link straight to explanatory videos are really helpful and make these cards much more accessible, particularly to those people who aren't as familiar with coding.Things I didn't like:- One or two spelling/grammar mistakes on the cards is a bit of a shame that spoils an otherwise very good product. Not enough to spoil my recommendation to you, though.Do I recommend it?Yes, absolutely. A great way to revise GCSE computer science and in particular, Python programming.

Another excellent CGP learning aid.
The things I like about most of CGP's learning products is that they are in colour, have sensible sized text in clear dark print and provide numerous worked examples with answers. They don't just stick to the easy worked examples, they include a few unusual examples as well to ensure you have fully understood the topic. These practice cards are an excellent aid to your revision and they are so convenient to carry around in your pocket or bag and just take and have a look when you have a few minutes spare. There are also practice challenges for when you have a little more time. I personally prefer to learn with small bitesize amounts rather than trying to trudge through loads of information. I find I learn much more easily when I am not actually trying to learn something if that makes sense. The textbook is for the complex topic explanation and this pack of practice cards kicks your brain into remembering what you have read and maybe forgotten or didn't quite understand.Highly recommended.

Quick and Clear
I got these for my adult son as his work have put him on a python programming course. I wasn't too sure if these would be of any use but figured it was worth a try.Initial reports are these are really good and his finding them incredibly useful. The front of the card has a "problem" to solve. Basically, how would you code for this eventuality. The back of the card does not have the solution to the problem. Instead it gives you three options - the simple fix, and then 2 more complex resolutions to the code. Well, it doesn't give you the exact code to use but it does explain how you could write the code that would be acceptable to python. He has only used a few as he stopped when he got to the point in the course he is at right now, although he is seriously tempted to read ahead. He did discuss them with his tutor and they were impressed with them and how they present the information. No feedback on the video information as he has only used the cards to date.Overall, if you are learning python then these are a great aide de memoire and a great way to test yourself as you move through the course.
