I have arthritic hands and chopping vegetables has become tedious and painful at times.All you do is clean the vegetable, select a VERY SHARP BLADE, and bring the top down. It takes me 2 wacks and my onions, potatoes, carrots...... are prepared for the dish I am cooking. My hands no longer ache from chopping.I must warn you, the BLADES ARE VERY SHARP. They must be sharp to work properly.Hold the blade insert by the surrounding plastic. I keep the squares of blades stacked in freezer bags, inside the clean chopper. I pull out the one I need by the sides and keep the rest enclosed. They store well inside the chopper.This item is not safe for children to use without close supervision. I have knicked myself just bumping a blade.That said, it works like a charm. The blades are surrounded by thick plastic that can be used to drop them in place. When I am finished, I tip the chopper over so the blade easily drops in the dish pan. I use a brush and the utensils included. They are also dishwasher safe. (Boy would I love a dishwasher.)It was well worth the price and I can whip up a chicken salad, chopped salad, and potato salad in a flash. I love this product.

I absolutely love this. I got this mainly for potatoes, but wasn't sure if it'd work for them. It works great. Saves me so much time. Good quality & easy to clean. Highly recommend.

This is amazing! Easy to use, sturdy and great results! Diced a hard red onion with ease. Dinner preparation was much quicker than normal. Can't wait to try out the slicing and other features. Great piece of equipment!

love the ease of this food chopper. Every part fits in - and out - easily but without slipping. Washes up easily too. It's versatile because I can chop nearly anything, but I do have to cut many veggies down to fit and/or cut them with one chop, but that's fine. It's great having a container for the chopped pieces to land in too! Also it is a great size, easy to store everything in one place.

very sharp and easy to use but...... washing blades is a trick while holding square blade with 1 hand and brush in the other, soap made my hand slip and cut my thumb pretty bad 4 slices bled for two days so becareful when washing

This works awesome. Comes with a variety of different chopping slicing blades. I am very pleased with this purchase. If you are thinking of getting it don't hesitate, it's well made and an excellent price at Amazon.

When they say dishwasher safe but "top rack recommended" they should really say "top rack only". I have only used this two or three times, and the one time I put it in the bottom rack it warped the plastic so bad it was rendered unusable. Overall it worked well, but had the product said "top rack only" I never would have put it in the bottom rack of the dishwasher.
