I agree with everyone who mentioned that pulling this wheeled case is comical/annoying/challenging. In reality, though, that feature is not why I made the purchase. I bought it to bring wine home from France. In that regard, it worked perfectly. My husband and I spent September traveling throughout France. From the bottles we purchased during week one, to the bottles we bought week three, all made the journey well. Easy to use, easy to store - highly recommend.

Saves you money and time...love it!
This suitcase is fantastic! It’s already saved us so much money on shipping. It’s relatively easy to cart around. The handle could be a little longer, but overall it’s great. We filled it up with some pretty hefty bottles, but it still came in under the 50lb limit. And I feel good knowing that I can replace the “innards” (a standard wine shipping case) after time and it’ll be a brand new inside.

Worth the buy for wine trips.
Bought this case for a Canadian wine trip in August. It was super-lightweight and easy to check. We stored the strap for flying. Held 12 bottles with no trouble for 50lb weight limit and all bottles arrived safely even with changing planes. It was great to have a place to keep bottles on the trip so they weren't loose in the car. Seller was great to help with order.

Worked well for our purposes
Got a case of champagne from SFO to MSP without any incident! The straps could be better - kept hitting me on the back of my legs while I was wheeling it. That was annoying so I knocked down one star.

Love these!
We took 2 of these to Napa and Sonoma and bought a third while we there there. We checked them all on the plane and they returned in perfect shape though they were full of wine. They held up wonderfully!

Perfect as Checked Luggage for Twelve Bottles
We bought one of these from a winery in Napa because our “wine suitcase” was already full with six packed bottles, and we wanted to purchase a few more bottles that we couldn’t otherwise get at home. It worked perfectly. Ours was also the complete set, as this one is, with the styrofoam insert that holds twelve bottles. Yes, twelve. Because the nylon case is so light, as is the styrofoam, those twelve bottles in this case still weigh under 50 pounds so you don’t have to pay extra to the airline. This has two wheels and an adjustable length nylon strap as well as reinforced handles on the body itself. Even though our filled Wine Check made it home intact, I expect to have to replace the styrofoam insert someday. (The winery also gave us a cardboard box that fits inside the nylon carrier and that holds the styrofoam -- I don't think that is part of the "complete set," although it may be.)If you go to your destination with the bag collapsed and flat, you can always get a styrofoam insert there. Some wineries will give them to you for free, but I wouldn’t count on it. In the future, we plan to check it empty, fill it, and check it again to return home.— Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Does the job but needs several improvements
The media could not be loaded. I purchased based on the good reviews, (I intended to purchase on Amazon, but full disclosure I ended up purchasing from another vendor). Honestly it's quite awkward and cumbersome to drag around. I've listed my observations for clarity. It does the job, but I am giving it 3 stars because it's not very well thought out and has a few issues. This product could benefit from some common sense improvements. I don't think the makers actually used it at all, or they would know these problems. It's also quite overpriced when you consider the materials and quality of manufacture.Pros:• Will protect your wine with the rigid foam insert, cardboard box and exterior case.Cons:• Flimsy, lightweight shoulder strap, might not last with prolonged use.• A bit cumbersome to drag around with soft shoulder strap. A better solution would be a rigid frame or rod of some kind, at least with the carrying apparatus.• Keeps hitting the back of your feet/legs as you walk. Because of the soft strap it hangs directly below your arm, and not far enough behind you.• The underside exterior should be more durable. It is the same lightweight canvas material all around, but as you set it down and pick it up constantly, on streets and sidewalks, it's going have wear and tear and get filthy. The bottom should have more protection.
