My wife and I just took an 8 day sailing vacation in Tahiti. She always wants to be in the sun all the time, and ends up getting burned. The sun down there is INTENSE, and I was determined not to let her get burned and ruin our vacation. Each morning I made sure to give both of us a good coating of this stuff, and it worked great. We're pretty bad about reapplying, but still managed to get through a week in the sun without any serious damage. We also did a lot of swimming and snorkeling, and this stuff held up quite well with the water. The consistency was a bit thick and chunky, and it is quite difficult to fully blend it in so it's pretty visible on your skin, but it works even in direct tropical sun, so that's a small price to pay.

The product was initially very thick and difficult to apply. I reached out to the seller. They were very accommodating and offered guidance. Because the product is higher in some ingredients, it can be thick when it's cold. Just hold it in your hands and warm it, or place it in a cup of warm water before applying. We've been using it regularly with great outcomes. Love the reef safe, sustainable and effective product line!

Sunscreen is too thick. Very difficult to squeeze out of the container. Leaves a white cast on skin. Won’t purchase again.

I bought this just before going on a cruise. When I first tried to apply it, it was too thick to go on smoothly or easily. I discovered that it has "settled" and I had to work on mushing for several minutes it inside the container until it got mixed and ready to use. It does a good job protecting against sunburn and I like that it isn't toxic to the coral.

It is a very good product with zinc oxide as one of the main ingredients. However, there is very little lotion in the tube. It looks as if most of the lotion is missing because the tube is 2/3 collapsed...as if someone had been pressing it from the bottom. My husband had to use a toothpick to get the lotion out , it didn't flow from the tube when he squeezed it. Is this the true amount we bought for $23?

The sunscreen was effective, as we did not get burned although we were at the equator for almost two weeks. However, it was almost impossible to get the sunscreen out of the tube. We literally had to lean on the tube on the counter with all of our weight to get any to come out. It was extremely thick, and it did not require much to cover adequately. I would have given this review all stars if it would have come out of the tube rather easily, as the product prevented us from being sunburned.

I got this to use on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. Seems to work pretty good.

After product was applied and was out in the sun the body sweated profusely only in the area of the back being tested on with this sunscreen product. Almost as if it was drawing out moisture from the skin by design. Areas not tested/applied on had no sweating noted. We will not be using this product as this is gross and unexpected. Though we had an issue with the product this companies customer service is Outstanding and rendered a prompt refund for us. Though we can't use this product for now at least this product is good for that vast majority of folks purchasing this sunscreen. We are just a rare case and had a unexpected reaction to this product. This does not mean their product is bad. I have talked with many people that swear by it and still use to date. Great products don't work for everyone but it does work for a lot more. Give it a try and you may find it a winner like others do. Again... Great Customer service!
