Harry Potter Talking Dobby and Collectible Book (RP Minis)

The figure is really nice and the quotes he say sound good. It’s really small, I did read the size but still the size was a surprise. It’s fragile, I accidentally dropped it as soon as I opened it and his legs and nose broke. Nothing a little super glue can’t fix lol. Overall a nice little collectible and great gift for a Harry Potter fan.

Two super-strong magnets are glued into Dobby's feet so he can stand on the stand, but they're so strong the factory glue didn't hold them. Poor Dobby felt miserable for failing me, so once I got him calmed down (NOT EASY -- had to take away the lamp he was smashing on his head and then pry him away from the oven he was slamming closed on his foot!), I super-glued those bad boys into place and we've been happy ever since. Well, as happy as Dobby can be without Harry around.The toy is cute and the base plays fun Dobby quotes at the touch of a button. ("Dobby never meant to kill! Dobby only meant to main, or seriously injure!") The mini-book has the quotes alongside movie snaps.A great investment for Dobby fans.

My wife loves her little Dobby. It’s small. But it serves its purpose of bringing a smile.

I absolutely thought that this was so cute and would have gave it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the voice box. The first tone I got it it made a very weird sound and never said the lines so I bought another to try and fix the issue to see if it always happened and sadly mines was only able to say two line and the noise. If you are ok with the voice like this the go for it but if you want a talking on I’d skip past this

This was the second one of these little talking Dobbys purchased, same seller through Prime. Amazon is awesome. The first one the batteries must of died and Amazon sent me a speedy replacement. I just have to return the first one. Both shipments came in tact & unbroken. The one that works, works great. Theres 7 phrases.1. “Dobby never meant to kill only meant to mame or seriously injure.”2. “Dobby only wants Harry Potter to be safe.”3. “Dobby is free.”4. “Harry Potter must not go back to Hogwarts of Witchcraft and Wizardry this year. Theres a plot, a plot to make most terrible things happen.”5. “Dobby has no master. Dobby is a free elf and Dobby has come to save Harry Potter and his friends.”6. “Dobby has heard of your greatness but never has he been asked to sit down by a wizard.”7. “Dobby remembers how it was before Harry Potter triumphed over he who must not be named.”Just push button to hear each phrase. Random order but u can push button to interrupt order to skip to a new one.

Super cute however very poor quality. When opening the package I dropped dobby on the counter not even a 6in drop and his head popped off. The magnet that helps him stand on his platform and not strong at all. Sure it’s cute but overall a very poor quality product.

It's small but really well sculpted. The voice recording is spot on. This is one of my favorites. Highly recommended for the Potter collector. Dobby is alive!

When I first ordered this in July, I put it away for my granddaughter for Christmas. I gave it to her on Thanksgiving and it did not work despite having batteries in it. I reordered another one to replace the first one and the same thing happened. I returned the second one and decided to take the first one to the battery store to see if new batteries would solve the problem. I was told there that one of the batteries was "swollen." He replaced the three batteries but it cost 14.99!!!! The gift cost $8.00 so the gift ended up costing $22.99 rather than $8.00. I would not recommend ordering this item and I am extremely dissatisfied the product is being sold with defective batteries.
