This pen uses 2.6mm ink cartridges, not the 3.4 mm that I already have on hand for my other pens. I missed that in the description and should have caught it.It does come with a converter/ink absorber so I will be trying it as soon as I get the liquid ink. Received Broken Pen - I guess product itself is not durable

It writes but the ink doesn't flow very well. You have to write extremely slow for it to work as intended. Disappointed as it feels and looks like a very well made pen.

I have a thing for fountain pens and I selected this one with a mind to compare it to others. This is a very inexpensive pen and I wasn't too sure what to expect, though experience has told me that inexpensive pens like this one are not necessarily bad. I was pleasantly surprised by this one.This is a wood and metal pen that at a glance does not betray its low cost. The wood around the barrel and on the cap is smooth and I was unable to find a seam line. It comes with an ink converter, but no ink. When it arrived, it came in a padded envelope without a case.This is a surprisingly balanced pen. When the cap is posted it feels very well balanced in my hand, more so than I expected.The nib is fine, and so far it has written well for me. I have not had it long enough to know if it will have hard starts, skips or burps, but initial working with it has resulted in smooth lines and easy writing. It is not the smoothest pen I have used and it feels a bit like writing with a pencil, but I am all right with that considering that this is a pen that costs less than $10.This is a fine starter pen for someone wanting to use a fountain pen but not knowing where to jump in. It seems to be made well, it writes nicely, and it's very affordable.

Okay, low price and you can't expect something great, but it's still not what I thought it would be. I give three stars because the permeability of the ink to the tip of the pen is poor. Otherwise, the design and quality of the materials are solid. Buy if you have no other options.

I took a chance at trying out this fountain pen. It was (at time of ordering) < $7.I have to admit, I didn’t like all the gold trim (seemed a bit shiny for my tastes), but I like the pen overall.It has a nice heft to it (not too heavy, but solid enough) and it is well constructed (the cap clicks on quite nicely and the parts screw together smoothly).It comes with an attached screw-style ink pump—to fill, you dip the tip of the pen into the ink bottle and then turn the ink pump end screw until the ink reservoir on the pen is full.The pen writes very smoothly. Ink flow right out of the box was very good. I am quite pleased with this pen.

Plunger does not work to extract ink. Only prefilled cartridges work.

La penna è molto bella ma non scrive bene. Il alcuni punti rilascia troppo inchiostro e in alcuni per niente. L’ho caricata con più inchiostri ma ho avuto sempre lo stesso risultato

Pricewise of value. Purchased for drawing but used for writing when other pen broke. Hurts a bit after a while. Recommend spending a bit more on a quality pen
