Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a small, hand held shovel that could handle light gardening without bending! I was absolutely sick and tired of all my shovels bending anytime I tried to dig up weeds in my yard! I came across this shovel and thought I would give it a try since the reviews were so great. And let me tell you, there's a reason why this is so highly rated! You can't beat the quality. I was worried at first about the wooden handle because I thought it might slip out of my hand but it's absolutely perfect - easy to grip and has a little loop that fits around your wrist for extra insurance. Use with caution - this shovel is SHARP!! Like, it's SHARP SHARP!! this shovel is not something I would let my child use, but for me, it is PERFECT! It cuts through the clay soil in my backyard effortlessly. I have been using the heck out of it and it hasn't bent not even a little bit! I rinse it off regularly and it hasn't rusted either! Literally looks like I just bought it yesterday! A must have for any gardener!

Wow! What a great trowel! The edges of the trowel are sharp and easily cut through the grass and roots to easily remove a pop up sprinkler. The trowel is well made. This is a great tool!

This is a beautifully made trowel. It is sharp enough to cut through compacted soil and fits very nicely in your hand. This garden implement should last a very long time with proper care. Highly recommend!

This is solidly built, and perfectly weighted for me - it's not heavy, but it's substantial. It's just the right size to transplant my starts, and the sharp edges are great. When I'm out there digging in the dirt, it feels like an extension of my own hand... so glad I bought this trowel!

Found one cheaper at walmart but now wish I would have kept this trowel

A bit smaller than i was expecting. it is razor sharp around the edges so it easily will cut roots. Metal is a bit thin, mine came pre dented. Handle is good size and looks like it will hold up well to the weather but with any wood handle you want to keep it dry.
