Inspiring for All Mental Strengths
177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class by Steve Siebold is a very informative and insightful book. I too only wish that I would have known about this book sooner, but at least I know now. The following are some passages of the book that I found very helpful and that resonated with me (and to share with others a glimpse of this great information):Pg. 60 secret #28: Champions are Comeback Artists: I enjoy how the author gives helpful tidbits on examples of people that have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps. The fact that he lists this lesson as perserverance on the physical plane, toughness on the mental plane, and artistry on the spiritual place is very inspiring.pg. 114 secret #70: The Great Ones are Products of their Own Imagination: The author mentions who champions combine action with imagination. The action step is really fun as well (he encourages you to allow your imagination to run wild with ideas of your perfect life).Pg. 155 secret #99: The Great Ones are Aware of their Limitless Potential: This statement really stood out for me because I watched a really fun movie called Limitless that starred Bradley Cooper less than two months ago. The "Limitless" movie illustrated the potential realities possible when unlimited potential is tapped into. This is similiar to the message that I believe that author is trying to send with this secret when he emphasizes that champions wake up one day and realize that their possibilities and potentials that symbolize the unlimited arena.Pg. 193 secret #124: The World Class Believes in Self-Reliance: Steve mentions how the core of fullfillment comes from within yourself and that the world class learns to rely on themselves to get the answers from within.Pg. 196 secret #126: Champions are Bold and Daring Visionaries: Mr. Siebold mentions why the importance of keeping on your vision. The recommended action step is also very exciting: He mentions a plan to make a commitment to create the ultimate vision for your life in the next 30 days, and he gives the eight life components as a guidepost. The eight life components is very enlightening for me because I have been frequently getting the feeling to implement my vision, and thanks to coming across secret #126 I now am aware the areas of my life that are beneficial for that vision (some of the helpful areas Steve recommends are faith/spiritual, social/cultural and personal development).I am a naturally emotionally tough person, and yet this book gave me some insights on how to take my mental fortitude further. However, this book is beneficial for all levels of mental toughness.

This is an amazing book!
This is by far one of the best books that I have ever read that was written by Steve Siebold. He is not just an ordinary coach, but a mental toughness coach. What I loved is Steve said as you ponder whether or not this book is for you, think about your life. This book had me thinking about a lot of things that I was doing in my life. You might be in that very same position. I promise you, you will want to read this book!We already know that good performance coaching is just like eating healthy food. We have to be putting positive reassuring things into our lives on a daily basis because of all the negativity in our world. How well we perform is all based on our thoughts and what we can control. This book is more than just a book, but an inspiration to try and do better every single day. I love the reassuring principles that are in this, and I know that if you read every single day, that you will find the inspiration to improve each day one step at a time. A thousand miles is started with just one step. I definitely give this book and author a 5 star rating! If anyone has any questions pertaining to my review of this book feel free to reach out to me. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that is wanting to improve their life!

Everyone needs a refresher: 'The mindset of a champion'.
'177..' raises many important points. Most of the things it talks about are known to the average consumer ofself-help training manuals. The important point is application day in and day out. Some quotes:"Champions know every problem has a logical solution (at best) or a practical strategy (at least)which can make things a little better.""Practice may not make perfect, but it does create consistency in performance."MY OPINION: Perfect practice makes perfect. Imperfect practice might lead to bad habits.Changing the language you use when talking to yourself or others [positive self-talk].MY OPINION: This reminds me of some academic psychology research. People actually hold different attitudes when they think in English as opposed to when they think in Japanese."With their potential in front and their fear behind them, champions are able to move beyond the boundaries of competition and create what the masses believe is impossible."MY OPINION:Introverts are not competitive (in general), so they need to have standards; whereas extroverts compare themselves to others (hence they are called competitive).**********The book does hint that going after your dream might ruffle some feathers. One thing I agree completely with the author on is that there is no such thing as security. All promises of security are ashifting miasma to reduce the hard-won liberty of the citizen. Also the author is not wrong about self-esteem either. Self-esteem comes from self-trust which is your track record with yourself.*

Incredible, required reading
This book is life changing amazing. This book is worth it simply based off of the book references that he gives at the end of most secrets. Many of these books have not been digitally converted yet on Amazon, which to me represents the secret treasures they are. In terms of becoming successful and changing the path a person may be on, there aren’t 3 books that I would recommend over this one.
