Not sure if there is a lot you can say about a splatter cover. I had to buy a new one after I messed up our old one. This cover is nice, light weight and adaptive to different plate sizes. I like that there are multiple vents at the top, and it can be compacted when not in use. I have found it easy to clean and it seems to do the job well.

This was a nice value for the money. It is well-made and sturdy. It collapses nicely for storage and is easy to clean. It has tiny holes for steam release, and a rubbery handle which is easy to grip. My son warmed soup that splattered, and it saved the day by catching all the spray! Definitely a great buy.

This works well, it’s a good size and durable, I haven’t not had any issues with it, it is thick and not flimsy, so it’s harder to collapse and open that’s why I have it 4 stars

Ever since my family got its first microwave oven some 45 years ago, I have made a constant practice of covering food with waxed paper, both to hold in moisture, otherwise lost from steam and to contain the splatter caused by the inevitable microwave explosions. These silicone covers do the job just as well and will ultimately pay for themselves by saving on the cost of waxed paper. The covers are the diameter of a dinner plate and can be folded and unfolded to various heights. They are vented to allow some steam to escape, but not so much that the food dries out. But the functionality doesn't end there. Flip it over and it can be used as a collander to rinse fruits and vegetables or to drain pasta. It can also be used as a cover to keep food warm; for instance, when the meat comes off the grill before the vegetables are ready on the stove. Cleanup is also easy with soapy water. They're probably dishwasher safe, but there are no markings to that effect and the two covers were shrinkwrapped together with no instruction sheet.
