Malibu Stainless Steel Chafer with Gold Accents, 8 Quart

bang for the buck ! sturdy and super looks !

I bought this chafer over two years ago, and it’s still one of the best things I own. I use it for every party — it’s elegant, keeps the food warm, and adds a classy touch to my table. The quality is amazing and very durable. I just bought another one today because I love it so much!

I have always marveled at ordinary people having full service chafers, why not just use the aluminum pan and the chafing rack, (that is what I always did) until I started my own catering business and knew I had to have a classy looking set of chafers. My heart was set on the stainless steel/gold combo by Winware! Checked out various sites for the same set (some were higher), it looked so elegant and when I received it even better. You may pay a little more than the $25.00 chafer but you have better quality and performance. My children purchased - 3 of the full size and two 4-qt ovals (same brand and style from AMAZON)for pre-Christmas 2011. Steamed very well, keep in mind that if you put cold food in a chafing dish it will take forever to heat the food, it should be warm. Awesome set for entertaining whether you are professional or not! S/N I would not use this at an outside BBQ...too elegant!

These are showstoppers! I love the stainless steel and gold combo. The gold accents dress them up and I always get compliments. They are easy to assemble and use. I expected and would have preferred the trays to be more substantial in weight (too light IMO) and thickness (too thin IMO). These are good for hosting a few house parties a year, but not durable enough for regular use. They cleaned well, but the burner left discoloration. It’s on the bottom, so it’s not a big deal. All in all, I am very pleased with the chafer sets and recommend them for your holiday dinners.

Looks like really nice fancy but side handle is very weak break easily.

This was my first chafing dish buy and had no experience with them but needed for a Superbowl party. Virtually no assembly required and uses standard size sterno that was available ay my local grocer. Not much guidance on how much water to use but after having it on for about five hours, it uses very little. I overfilled the water and when it got hot, it steamed over but then worked great. Only need about 1 inch of water to keep it happy. I would buy it again as it looks good and works great.

Beautiful and worth the money. Stay away from the glass lid ones, I got those aswell and the glass exploded, so I returned those. This one is perfect, you don't have to worry about glass exploding. Makes any event look stylish.

Wow! This dish is incredibly beautiful and comes packaged really well! The dish is VERY sturdy and the stand is already put together. I can’t wait to serve my whole salmon in this for my Family Christmas Party. It is extraordinarily elegant! Thanks so much Amazon.

The pot hold is very weak and broken

Bought these for our church, price was great and they look even better. Wish there had been more available.
