These hair ties are great. They are gentle in hair, they do not snag or pull on hair, and they hold well but are not too tight. They do loosen a little after prolonged use, but that's to be expected and it takes a while (I didn't notice mine start to loosen until about 6 months of daily use), and even then you just do another loop and it will still hold fine. I have not had any breakage in my hair since using these, and I feel better knowing it's silk on my hair.

These are the only hair ties I use for my thick curly hair. They are strong enough to hold my heavy hair up even during intense cardio, but soft and stretchy enough to not cause breakage. I wrap three times around my hair when I go to the gym, or wrap twice loosely to pineapple my hair on top of my head for when I’m sleeping and it holds all night. They do eventually stretch out and need to be replaced, but I happily do it because they work so great.

Theses are great hair ties. They hold well without damaging my hair. Vastly superior to any others that I have tried. The only reason that I didn't review at 5 stars is they stretch out quickly. I can't say that is all the hair ties issue, I like to keep my hair secure, so this might be my use of them as much as their quality.

These hair ties are holding up to multiple heavy usage without any problems at all. They keep my hair from breaking off. They're soft but hold the hair firm without causing hair damage, at least that's my experience. My hair is shoulder blade length and fairly thick. I can get one of these hair ties around my single ponytail at least 3 times. The elastic is holding up wonderfully. Many times I find the elastic in hair ties get stretched out and they become useless. I have been using these daily for months with no signs of elastic weakness or damage. I am going to order more in the other colors! My new favorite hair ties!
