Carlyle Raw Whole Foods VIT C | 180 Coated Caplets | Dietary Supplement | Vegan, Non-GMO & Gluten Free

Was looking for a good Vitamin C to take with my daily Iron supplement - to potentially aid in Iron absorbtion. My old Vitamin C (an EsterC) was Calcium Ascorbate - but Calcium interferes with Iron absorbtion. This is just good old Ascorbic Acid - just what I needed.

I’m a supplement “arm chair” professor…meaning that I do a lot,of research on supplements for my and my families health and wellness. I don’t just order random things to try and give a half hearted opinion. Especially when it comes to something like a supplement. I was intrigued by this one, for the raw vegetable factor and also because my father for health reasons, and being on and off a feeding tube for a while now during treatment, cannot eat enough of the actual raw WHOLE foods that his body needs and this supplement has been great. Before he started taking these, I took it to his nutritionist to look over and she gave me a huge thumbs up…so I felt comfortable in having him try taking these. He’s tolerated these really well, compared to others that upset his stomach. They’re really easy to swallow also, which was a concern. His nutrition is much better with this on board when he can’t get it from foods right now. Do your research and I think you’ll agree.

I like this brand of vitamin C because of the ingredients. I was using another brand but I think I'll switch to this brand. The pills are small and smell a bit like honey.

Carlyle is a major distributor of supplements and a brand that I trust. I suspect what’s going on here is that they decided to capitalize and piggyback on all the advertising we see on television for another well-known brand of fruit and vegetable supplement. So not only do you get a daily dose of C, but you get a wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables as well. I see no harm to this, and possible benefit, so long as you are not allergic to any of the added fruits or vegetables. I’m pleased that the added fruits and veggies are organic because I have read that organic produce is unlikely to contain the residual pesticides that are sometimes found in standard produce. These are ¾ inch long tan-colored caplets. The expiration date on the label is just short of 3 years from the date I received it. Overall, I think this product is a winner when compared to my standard 500mg Vitamin C supplement. At one caplet daily, this is a 6 month supply.

Only wanted vit c - caused massive diarrhea

This vitamin C supplements are great. It contains vitamin C and essential fruits and vegetables. These supplements have organic raw whole foods and vitamin C everyone needs!
