5.11 Tactical Men’s A/T All-Terrain 8-inch Military Style Boots for Snow, Hiking, Work – Non-Zip, Water-Resistant, Style 12422

These boots fit great and look really good. I’m breaking them in now to use for this upcoming weekend (army reserves annual 2 week training). My father-in-law saw them and now wants to order a pair as well. The grip and outside feels great and durable. I got a 10 wide and it fits great.

Got these for my husband… he loves them. Says they are comfortable and are true to size.

The media could not be loaded. The boot is decent quality and has a nice cupped heel to the insoles. They are light weight and still offer some ankle padding and support. They're not slippery and grip well, too. Unfortunately, neither the coyote or coyote-dark are ACTUALLY coyote brown per AF military standards. The coyote is a beige tan, sand, color; and the dark coyote is a straight up dark brown boot. In my video, I compare both colors of the 5.11 boot to and regulation acceptable, true, coyote brown boot. Not even close, pity.

There’s a few of us at my job that have these and I personally believe they look better on women. Very cute, especially on smaller feet. They aren’t bulky like most tactical boots, and they are true to size. They’re classified as men’s boots so I ordered a size 6.5 (which would be a size 8 in women's) and regular fit, NOT wide fit. Also, very comfortable.These boots are NOT WATER PROOF AT ALL.

Perfect sizing, great fit, no break-in, comfortable as sneakers.

As you can see, the boots are not worn very much. I have many pairs of different boot. I have been wearing Salomon G4's for years and they last for years. These 511's are poor quality, or perhaps this boot is an anomaly? I can tell you, I will NEVER purchase anything from this company again. Shameful.

The last 5.11 footwear I owned were the Range Masters that I used on a contract in Afghanistan in 2017. They were comfortable and looked good, but didn't last long. I got these ones to see if the quality improved and were still comfortable. Absolutely comfortable, quality has improved vastly (I understand they're a different model, but cheaply made footwear falls apart easily, regardless of brand and model). They were also basically broken in out of the box. 5.11 did great with these ones.
