They twisted into itself as soon as opened

I was hesitant to purchase, given the lack of reviews and the fact that the one or two I did read, were negative and the incredibly inexpensive price point. But let me tell you, I am SOOOO SOOOO glad I decided to buy anyway!!Please keep in mind, this was intended for my 7 year old Son-If you’re a professional magician looking to incorporate this into your set, I don’t know that this would be the right fit. I also don’t think it would be the right fit for a child under the age of 6 or 7. As there’s a tiny bit of a learning curve when it comes to bringing the sword back down. (We found that having v my son hold it up against his stomach, while twisting slowly, works the best) and there is some hand manipulation needed to get it to spring out (although not much at all). I also love the idea that it’s plastic; as the first one I purchased for him was metal (and nearly double the cost) and it lasted all of a half hour. As he ended up bending the metal in several areas. So this material is far more durable in my opinion.All in all, I’d 1,000% purchase it again and I 1,000% recommend it to the more responsible child (as opposed to a destructive one) and any teenager or adult who’s learning/just wants to have fun with it.MY only complaint and it’s minor, are the instructions. As they’re completely useless. You’d be better off messing around/figured it out on your own. But I’ll def update with a video of my son demonstrating it to give you a better idea of how it’s done.

The media could not be loaded.  If you’re looking for something that resembles a cane or a metal wand, you may be tempted to try these out. Unfortunately, what you end up with is something that is definitely made for children and won’t fool anyone up close.First of all the safety mechanism is a flimsy switch. That wallet does work is easy for it to come loose. Secondly, there are no directions in the package so you are forced to figure it out on your own or go back to the listing to find out how to stop this from expanding in your face. You should consider never aiming this at your face when you’re trying to figure out why it doesn’t open the way you would expect it to. When it does open, it will explode and even though it isn’t metal, it can cause damage. Lastly, even once you have the release mechanism open to allow this to spring into its expanded form, it probably won’t. Instead, you will find yourself shaking and the little pocket of plastic until suddenly it pops open. When this does open, good luck on holding onto it unless you use the attached, nylon Ribbons Tied around your wrist.Once you get the item open, closing, it is an ordeal in itself. Twisting and turning the “pole” Back into a compact format is nothing you’re going to be able to do with one hand. Again, this is not like some of the spring loaded ones you may have seen elsewhere online. This is a poor Facsimile.If you’re looking for something that might work as a novel idea for a kids party by a novice magician at a distance from their audience this may do the trick.At $10 MSRP, this is a hard sell for me.

These toys are awful.-Bad quality-ZERO instructions-Mediocre usavility once you figure out the steps.-Trash bin fodder, dont waste your money.
