Solid Quality Water Dispenser At A Reasonable Price
We have upstairs cats and downstairs cats. Since all of our cats are rescues and we don't control when and how they enter our lives, unfortunately the cats don't aways get along. We bought this for our upstairs cats since we needed something to hold a good amount of water for them to drink. I had a cheap water dispenser but I found out the jug was not for repeated use (which is weird since that's the literal purpose). That bothered me so I made sure to find something that was made with safe plastic. The unit is nicely packaged and is very durable. It also comes with a long brush & sponge to help with cleaning the jug which is a nice addition. The jug holds a large amount of water and it can be a bit heavy to carry up the stairs when filled with water, but it isn't too bad. It also has a steel drinking bowl which I really like as well. So far the dispenser functions flawlessly. At $33 it's not cheap but it also isn't a bad price to pay for a quality product.

best water dispenser in my life
FREAKING WORTH IT!! This is the easiest to clean and fill pet waterer I have ever had and it saves so much effort! There's no hidden area that water or gunk gathers and gets gross, you can take the liner metal bowl and clean it out, sanitize it, whatever, all the areas you would clean are accessible without too much effort. You literally just lift the bottle, open, clean/refill, and set it back in its chute to gravity out some water. Literally the only downside of this dispenser is when it gets low my cat paws at it and if it gets knocked over it's not much of a clean up because when the bottle is removed from it's holder it kinda self closes because nothing is pressing it open (I've had them knock over other waterers and have had to take the time clean up soooooo much water)

Works well for our 2 cats
This automatic waterer works well for our needs with 2 cats. They don’t drink out of it a lot but I wanted to give them better access to something more than a plain water dish. It functions as expected and is simple to use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it can be a challenge to pick up when full. There’s no lip on the bottom or place to put your hands making it challenging to get your fingers under without spilling water. We’ll make do with it now as otherwise it’s working as I’d hoped.

Perfect!
Nothing I would change about this product. I added the legs on to make it higher which is perfect for my dachshunds.

DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT BUY! I would give it 0 stars. Right now, I am waiting to see how much damage is done. The product came and I was so excited to try it out. I bought the one with the filter. The instructions did not cover a filter. It said to put the cap, but I didn't have a cap, but thought the filter would keep it. Boy was I wrong. When I tried to put the bottle in the holder, the filter came out, spilling the entire water on my kitchen floor. I am waiting for my neighbor to come help me move my appliances out so I can get the water up before it ruins my floor. I am struggling with kidney cancer and this was the last thing I needed tonight. I am typing this through the tears.

The Paradox of after sales
The water bowl works fine like how it should. The mechanisms are of working conditions. The water bowl based design is rather a paradox of predeterminations of designs? or meant as an after sales information pry. There was an instruction manual with warranty designated with the water bowl which is a plus point indicating good traits of distribution. However, the contents on the instruction manual clearly was able to state "After cleaning, please drain the water inside the water dispenser", as if not so, "the internal water may flow to the ground during use". The dispenser had not been clearly labeled in the instruction manual which is paradoxically a bad trait of design leading to poor distribution integrity. Till this date, the dispenser component is still unidentified, hence the full potential of the washing may not be attainable, causing the full benefits of the product not being able to be manifested. One last note on the product. The base of the tray has a hypothetical "base plate" or "base cover" which requires the piece of cover to be tighten onto the tray component with 4 screws. Can't really see the requirement of it if the earlier advisory message from the instruction manual also reminds the users of this product leaking water to the ground. During the wash, water may seep through the base cover sit and the fixed outer ring securing catches which is quite a bad product design with no convenience and product after sales thoughts. It is more things to do rather than less to bother. Not forgetting water trapped in between the spaces of the tray underneath and the base cover may promote cultivation of molds and algae. Having these said, the headline of this review speaks for itself. Overall, a good functional water bowl, but with much leaks. I should not rate this with stars but the written review should suffice.

This is the best pet water dish I've owned. I have a 1 year old Labradoodle and a cat, the water lasts them a few days at a time before refilling (7L). It's extremely easy to assemble and fill with water. I've read a few reviews regarding the plastic not staying in place but it does snap in, you just have to push in the sides a bit (I've lifted the entire thing by the plastic while it's full of water and it doesn't come off, it's very secure). The metal dish is easily removable and simple to clean. My previous water dishes only had the plastic bowl for drinking out of, I found buildup was alot harder to remove, with this it cleans right off and it's more sanitary. Another great feature is the fact you can fill the bottle itself and bring it over to your water dish. No more carrying the entire dish over to your sink to screw on the bottom and spilling water when you flip it over. The cap for the bottle makes it completely spill proof even when flipped upside down (unless you push down on the cap). I can also appreciate the cleaning brush it comes with and it's great looking aesthetic. Pup and cat approved!

This item is a water dispenser for pets. It has a four litre capacity, a stainless steel bowl and a filter. It is described as low-noise so as not to disturb the pets. The unit is dissimilar to water dispensers you might find in an office in that there is a screw-on lid with a plunger. This means no water pours out while the water jug is being inverted and inserted. As the water level goes down, the plunger allows more water to exit the jug. I can say that except for when the jug was installed (glug glug glug) there has been no sounds from the unit as the dogs have used it. The unit was easy to assemble, and appears easy to clean as well. The cleaning stick seems to be an afterthought, bristles on a twisted wire handle and a bit of foam stuck at the very end. But we have plenty of implements with which to clean a jug that is sixteen inches deep. What is very convenient is that we can quickly see the level of water in the jug. With the old stainless bowls it was not as obvious and it was a regular occurrence that the water ran out. This won’t happen with this item. How did the dogs respond? Two older dogs sniffed at it and then backed away. Our newest dog, a deaf four-year-old Maltese tried it, and drank several times in five minutes. Seeing it was safe, the other dogs began using it as well. This was all in the space of ten minutes. The consensus is that the unit is safe and convenient, and it has a permanent place in our kitchen.
