Seems to work, Update 9/28/19
Update...totally works. I'm about 7 weeks I think from my first application. OH BOY, I thought I had made a mistake!! My beautiful lawn turned splotchy white. I thought I had destroyed my lawn, but no...the lawn came back nicely with very little lime green still present, where it had huge clumps previously. I am now a believer in Tenacity. As a further benefit. In my back yard I have a small section of grass, basically our dog's bathroom. I don't do much to that at all but I applied Tenacity there... Got rid of the Poa Triv and Annua...and the Nutsedge!!! Looks GREAT!! I take pride in my lawn. 3 years ago, that little bit of lime green grass showed up. 3 years later, it was all throughout the lawn. I had both Poa Trivalis and Poa Annua. I've spread activity with Tenacity over 3 weeks. #1 was specifically targeted at obvious big splotches. #2 I did a generic spray of the entire front lawn. Took about 2 weeks and the white undesireable grasses are very obvious. 3 weeks later I repeated both actions (spot spray) and total lawn coverage. It's August 31, I'm going to wait a few weeks and then core aerate and over seed. So far, it seems to work. I'm sure it will be an ongoing effort to keep the Poa(s) at bay. Crab grass, clover and dandelions, not an issue this year. I've got a bit of NutsEdge. Need to read a bit and see if Tenacity takes that down too. Looking forward to the darkest of greens next year.

works great, but not as fast as you would think.
I needed a herbicide that was very strong, but safe. I have been looking for years to find this item. and here it is. i had some weeds and clover in my lawn that I absolutely could not kill. Our lawn is very large on our property with over 2 acres of grass. with other herbicides it cost me a fortune to use, and they never fully killed the weeds. This time I used Tanacity as specified by adding a surfactant (makes it stick to the weeds) and a dye that allows you to see where the Tanacity is being put on the lawn (very important, so it does not kill you lawn). I expected to see the weeds die in 3 or 4 days.. it took 10 days.. but when they started to die.. everything turned pure white.. just like it says.. and they have not returned. on the very large patches of clover, it took two doses to kill them all, but it did work. This stuff is expensive, but if you have a large amount of property like we do, then the per dose price is not too bad and the good news is, it works. buy it and try it.

Working better than my other choices, but still not as I had hoped or expected.
With all of the reviews of this product, I was hoping for a better result. My grass bleached out near the use spots and stayed that way for weeks, not just days. I am also going to have to go over about half of my spots again as the weeds only laughed at my first application. Its working better than my "big-box" store brands, just not as well as I had expected.

G.O.A.T. Herbicide
After watching countless videos on lawn care and reading article after article I figured I would give this stuff a shot. Everything you hear about it is true, this stuff is amazing. Yes, it takes a while to work, noticeable weed death in 1-2 weeks. Will turn it all white as it dies off, but the after results are amazing. I used this product with the recommended surfactant and dye, applied to lawn in early spring to kill off anything besides the grass. The after results are nothing more than spectacular. Second application for stubborn clover if you want to kill it off, but clover can be beneficial, do your homework before you go blindly spraying. Overall, great product for the money.

"It work's!!!"
It takes a few days for the effects of the spray to show up on the crab grass. But, it does the job. I wasted a lot of time trying to kill the crab grass with other products, but at last I've got something that actually works as advertised. Nice change. Messiest part was using the dye to mark the areas sprayed, but it helps with identifying the areas already sprayed. The syringe that came with the Tenacity was not a lot of help, so you may want to lube the plunger on the syringe beforehand. I also used a length of tygon tubing for aspirating the ingredients, since the syringe itself won't reach into the bottles that the chemicals are shipped in. Other than that, its a great deal for the price.

Powerful stuff
The interesting thing about mesotrione (the active ingredient in Tenacity) is its mode of action: it turns target plants bright white! This can be disconcerting when the lawn suddenly looks like winter wonderland in June. This is very powerful stuff. The mixing rate is ½ teaspoon per gallon and no kidding. But, as a post-emergent, I like having it on hand for a tall fescue lawn. It whitens clovers (e.g., trifolium campestre), poa annua, common crabgrass, and some other stuff I can’t reliably identify, but my thinking is if Tenacity turns it white, good riddance whatever it was. I note one interesting factoid. I made a mixing error and inadvertently used a double-strength batch on the fescue. The turf-type fescue was unaffected, but some areas with older KY31 pasture-type fescue had leaf blades whiten. This seems not to have been fatal. Its strength makes me a bit nervous about its pre-emergent effect, so feel I have to be very, very careful not to it use too soon before or after reseeding desirable grass.

weed killer
works great, the weeds turned white in about a week, but be careful of spray overlap it is possible to burn the lawn.

selective weed control with easy to measure and pour bottle
Great product. The added easy measure-and-pour feature is great. I measured out and mixed 25 gallons at a time in my sprayer. One week later, the grass is green, and the weeds are changing color.
