Go For it!!!

people who gave negative reviews said that some chapters were missing in indian edition.I agree with that. But international(imported) edition's cost is around 30-35 pounds. At this price this is a brilliant book on global politics.Presentation of this book is awesome.Paper quality is also very good.Online resource center is very helpful.dont hesitate because of negative reviews

Good book but bad product info

It has 470 pages only. Product info needs to be updated. Also, packaging is not proper. In the edges I can see blackness. Also, I bought for 832 last week and today the price is below 700.About the book - This is a very balanced book on IR. Ordered it for preparing Civil Services Political Science Paper-2, after seeing recommendations from toppers. If you have money go for international edition, which is 6-7 times costlier than this. But has more pages

easy to read and has a good online resource center

This is the new edition , the most recent one. Has an added chapter on Nuclear issue and many factual updates. It's relatively compact and much much more aesthetically pleasing , easy to read and has a good online resource center, which includes mind maps and a revision guide.

Do not buy this edition. Go for the imported one.

DISAPPOINTED! This book gets a one-star rating from me.Firstly, Amazon India's website, under "Product details" for this particular book, says this book has 536 pages. I just received the book and it has only 471 pages.I did a comparison with the imported version of the book, and the Indian edition, which I just received, has at least five fewer chapters. What is Oxford University Press's purpose of publishing this edition, which cuts out so much vital information necessary for students of IR?I will most likely be returning this book and purchasing the imported edition. If you're contemplating buying this book because of the price, DON'T. Stick to the imported version.

Thank you

Thank you. This is a great book encompassing contemporary world politics with theoretical support. Neither the authors nor the editors persuade the students to think in their defined way. It tells you to draw your own picture. This will be handy for a starter in the subject.
