All-Clad D5 5-Ply Brushed Stainless Steel Soup Pot 4 Quart Induction Oven Broiler Safe 600F Pots and Pans, Cookware Silver

I got the non-stick version of this item a few years ago and loved it until the finish started chipping all over the place and getting in our food. This stainless steel version is quite a bit more expensive, but I decided to get it because it should last for a very long time, presumably the rest of my lifetime. I absolutely love this pot and would highly recommend it to anyone as a fantastic investment. It cooks beautifully and is a pleasure to use. The only thing I don't like is the solid lid. Fortunately, the glass one from my old non-stick version is the same size, so I use that one with this pot instead of the one that came with it. A great gift for yourself or for someone who loves to cook and has an appreciation for high quality cookware.

This pot is the perfect size. I have been using it more than I thought I would. It is heavy but not at all too heavy, heats up very fast and holds the heat. It is beautiful looking. I have a couple of other All-Clad and needed one this size. What can I say, it is the perfect piece to complete your pot collection and I am so glad I bought it. I will use it more than I would a Dutch Oven the same size.

This All Clad pot really has many layers, and it cooks super evenly. It is old school well built and beautiful to look at on the stove top. Simple to clean and use. If you must have really good cooking pots, this one will work fine and make you happy every time you cook with it. Enjoy!

Heats very even and is just the right size for me

This is a fantastic 4 quart pot. Just right for everything from boiling a few servings of pasta to pot roast for two. It holds the heat well and cleanup is a breeze.

This is the only type of cook ware I own. I have thrown out much cookware that claims to be good, non stick won’t peel, won’t contaminate food. It always cleans up like new even if your husband boils eggs and forgets to turn off. They heat evenly, but yes you still need to stir, they aren’t a crockpot. Heavy pan, extremely versatile, the handles are a great size and comfortable to handle. Extremely functional for cooktop or oven. Great value since you’ll never need to rebuy a pan!

The pot itself if good, maybe not great, considering the price. What is below standard is the lid, that is not much more than a thin layer of metal. All-Clad could do better than this

When I got an induction stove I had to give up my favorite pot and then I found this to replace it. I use it all the time. Not huge like my dutch oven, but larger than my largest pot.

Used it to cook a chunks veg soup for children. Perfect. I did notice it had several scratches on inside base.

Ein Super-Topf, wie erwartet. Er ist nicht der Erste von diesem Hersteller. Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich ihn über Amazon USA kaufe. Ich habe es gewagt. Alles lief perfekt. Der Topf ist sogar viel eher angekommen als erwartet. Die Lieferung konnte genau verfolgt werden. Jetzt wird noch öfter "amerikanisch" gekocht. :-)

Really a high quality product

It's my best pot, sturdiest and will outlive me, I use it all the time. I'm looking for a 2 or 3 quart D5 with a long handle (saucepan) at a reasonable price. Look around the web, sometimes people sell them second hand, be patient, you will find a good deal.

Awesome product! Very durable! No hot spots, even cooking on a gas range. Expensive but well worth it!
