JUNG SAEM MOOL [JUNGSAEMMOOL OFFICIAL] Essential Skin Nuder Cushion Mini (Fair Light)

I have been using a Korean makeup brand for the last 10 years, and am now unable to get it in my preferred shade in the US. I have been searching for a replacement for it and at long last, I think this is it. About my skin: I am fair with some oily skin and some dry patches, I use SPF 50 moisturizer prior to applying makeup, and I don’t need heavy coverage. Things I look for in a makeup: SPF 50, light to medium coverage to even skin tone, and gives that slightly dewy glow. I have tried a lot of brands trying to find this combination (which I was getting from the makeup I can no longer get). Here is the breakdown for this product: Pros: SPF 50 (fully protected my skin outdoors for a couple hours without the need to reapply), easy application (I like the way the compact is built to have a place to dab excess off the cushion applicator), nice coverage (not full by any means, but enough to even out my skin tone), the range of available shades is nice (it is often difficult for me to find something that matches my skin tone), price (costs half what I was paying for my old makeup). Cons: need to use extra moisturizer prior to applying to avoid dry appearance. Does not give quite the dewy appearance that I like, but my skin does look healthy in this brand. I also want to give kudos to this company for offering a trial / travel size! I really appreciated being able to try out the makeup for $10, rather than paying $30 for something I might not like. The travel size fits perfectly in my purse too. The bottom line: I really like the protection, coverage and look of this makeup. I’m so happy to have finally found a reasonably priced alternative to my old makeup!

I have honestly never written an Amazon review, but I just have to for this stuff! I was hopeful but not really expecting it to be that much better than any other foundation I would normally use. And I have tried so many, from expensive brands to drugstore brands. But this one is the best EVER! I have about a million freckles but after using just a minimal amount, my daughter said "omg where did your freckles go?!" It evens your skin flawlessly and looks so natural! It has a nice sheen to it which looks healthy but not greasy or sparkly. The shade matched my skin perfectly, and it really only took a little bit of product to get perfect skin. I really can't believe how good it looks! It does have a makeup smell, but it's not overwhelming. I will definitely be buying this for life now. Do yourself a favor and buy it!

Love how small it is so that I can throw it in my bag. What I don’t like is the slight gray tone and the tackiness of it. Even after putting powder on top, it’s still sticky on my face. As far as coverage, one layer will not cover freckles but will do wonders for pores and evening out skin tone. Two layers might be too much and obvious esp on older, aging skin. (I’m 44) That said, this is my go to when I need to run out the door quick. Tap tap tap and good to go. Probably not for full makeup, 15 hr kind of day.

This IS without a doubt, the BEST makeup I have used! If you are looking for a brand that makes your skin fabulous, this is.it! I got it and put it away in defense of trying a few others I purchased. And behold this being the last I tried, IT IS MY ABSOLUTE favorite. It makes my face look like perfection. I have combination skin as well, didn't think a product could handle it all, but this one does for me. I really don't think you'd be disappointed. The sample ones are priced right too.

My three star review is not b/c of the quality of the cushion it’s b/c the seal over the sponge was broken and the product was dried out. I love this cushion and have bought it twice, just wish it had been sealed properly. It leaves a dewy flawless finish with medium coverage. I wear sunscreen daily so I can’t attest to the effectiveness of the spf in it.

I read reviews and have recently been interested in K-beauty. I my search to find a good color match for foundation (fair skin-red hair), I stumbled upon this brand of cushion foundation and the price is reasonable. So, I thought: “Why not!”. I really didn’t have high hopes because I have been missing it with foundation, color matching as of lately. I got the pkg today and opened it right away. My face was already skin prepped and ready to go so I got right in and tried it. Wowza!!! I am in disbelief that it is not only a great match, but it also goes on flawlessly. I’m going to wear it until this evening to see the longevity is like. First impression: Fantastic!!

Good coverage it’s a shame it wasn’t my shade, I’m pale olive

The product itself is nice, I found that it lasted better than my usual foundation throughout the day and the application is easy. However, I’m bummed out about the shade. Contrary to most people’s issue when choosing a shade from a Korean brand, mine ended up too dark for me. And that was the shade “fair-light”, which was the lightest I could get in the smaller size. From the photos it looked lighter and more neutral but in reality (at least on me) it looks too dark and too warm. I’d like to try a lighter shade but I don’t have it in my budget to risk it on the larger size right now. Otherwise it’s a good product, just wish I could try the lightest shade without dropping so much cash!
