I love cooking with garlic and I used to own a garlic crusher device (slightly different design, one that would separate into 2 pieces). I am so happy with this set! [+] The crusher feels great in the hand, it is somewhat heavy and sturdy metal construction. I expect this will last a while if properly maintained. [+] It is actually very easy to clean! I was slightly concerned the one-piece design would make it harder to clean, but it really doesn't, a quick rinse does the job. The box says it's dishwasher safe, however I think a quick hand washing makes more sense. [+] It pressed garlic well, requires a bit of strength to crush if you put more than one piece of garlic at a time, but works as expected. I did have to reposition some of the "uncrushed" garlic at the center and press again to get the most of the garlic properly crushed, but I think that is typical of these crusher devices. [+] The peeler is maybe my favorite addition to this set, because I never had one before (but always wanted to), I hate peeling garlic and this thing just makes it a breeze, it truly works, such a simple but brilliant design, and super quick to clean. I perfectly peeled 4 garlic heads in 5 seconds, so much satisfaction from such a simple tool :) I am very satisfied with this product and recommend it 110%!

We eat a lot of garlic in my home and i finally got around to ordering one of these after years of doing it with a knife. This little garlic crusher has a good weight to it. It feels good in your hand. It works like a dream, and does exactly what it is supposed to, crush garlic. It came with a brush and a garlic peeler. The peeler worked a lot better than I expected. So glad i don't have to fight with my garlic anymore.

This tool is very easy to use. Saved me a couple of minutes of prep making dinner. Popped a clove of garlic in and squeezed the handle. The silicone peeler is interesting. Did make peeling my garlic a little easier. Glad to add this tool to my kitchen gadgets.

This is a great size which has the capacity to press quite a few cloves at once. It’s sturdy and comfortable to hold and works well with limited pressure needed. For me the highlight was the silicon sleeve. I’ve never owned one of these and it’s a game changer! For years I’ve been struggling to peel the cloves which always results in tainted, smelling fingers. It’s great! pop in the garlic, roll and hey presto! It comes out peeled or as good as. The only reason I have deducted a mark is the ability to clean it afterwards. The enclosed little brush isn’t effective and the design of the press leaves a lot of residue caught inside. I recommend using a more heavy duty pot brush and giving it a good soak beforehand! Other than that, it’s perfect!

This garlic press is just what we needed after our last one went missing during our house move. Our old one was not as good as this one. It is extremely easy to clean as it is just one piece without any hard to clean areas. Just pop the cloves in and manually press down. I found it worked well and minced the garlic to my satisfaction. The included garlic peeler was a new one on me, but it did rub the skin off the clove effectively, ready for crushing. Overall, both work well and save your hands from smelling of garlic!

This is a very nice looking garlic press and I was hoping it would work as well as it looked. Unfortunatley the press itself has a small alignment problem and gets stuck a bit in some of the holes. This wastes a bit of garlic and is a bit frustrating unfortunately. It still does get the job done but a bit less efficencly than it could be. As I am a Vine reviewer some of my reviews are based on free products which require an honest review. I strive not to take things I have little interest in and review at the price point advertised (including vouchers or discounts where mentioned). This is a lovely looking press, with a premium look and feel. The press is heavy and sleek, with a printed logo giving it a designer style. The press is a large size and can fit a good amount of cloves in. However, the teeth aren’t a great fit through the holes, so you do end up with unusable bits of garlic. Some of the holes were also covered over in metal (see photos) where it hadn’t been punctured fully. I was able to knock these shards off just with a paper clip. Just be aware of this because you don’t want to end up with metal filings in your dinner! (It wasn’t a massive issue, but something for the manufacturer to be aware of). The peeling sleeve was something new to me and I found it worked well. I’ve always struggled with peeling garlic, so would definitely recommend these little ‘sleeves’. The cleaning brush is a bit pointless. It’s too soft to get into the nooks and crannies. Overall I really like it, but I can be a sucker for style over substance!
