Good So Far!
I heard mixed reviews on this. I took a chance and it's only been 2 weeks, but so far so good. The Alienware software takes about 10 to 20 seconds to load when first opening it. after that 5-10. The back end got flack for being too big. But Who is really carrying around a 16 inch gaming laptop. Keys feel great. RGB is good. Keys are clear and not blinding like most RGB backlits. Design is good imo. feels premium. Cam is decent. Touch pad is smooth. Display is nice, all text is clear and colors are good. I heard many people complaining about the brightness levels. But in a dark room I actually turn the brightness down. And in my home with normal outdoor light coming in, I have no issues with the brightness. 2 usb 2 usb c, this is the only downside. in my opinion. I wish there was one more. I do like there are no cables coming from the sides. All ports in back. Cleaner desk look. will update if I have any issues.

Computer worked as expected.
So far the computer works great. I purchased as Amazon used and it has performed as expected. I would recommend.

Do not buy this laptop!!!
This laptop is a GIANT waste of money. It didn't last for 2 weeks before the system stopped charging itself and shut down. I had to return it without being able to remove my data. I am VERY disappointed with this product and purchase.

Alienware review
Awesome computer, switched from older Asus ROG, and leaps above with the M.2 drive and the display is incredible. Now, for value, you can definitely get better values out there, for example HP Omens gaming laptops, BUT, I love the design of this brand for a while and particularly this year. Very happy

Great performance in a small package
Really fantastic gaming laptop in a small chassis. It handles anything I throw at it with ease, and the thermals stay well under 85*. I purchased this “used-like new” and it has its fair share of scuffs and scrapes, but functionally it seems to be in order. There is a weird issue when I turn it on, it shuts off, but the 2nd power on it always boots up like normal. According to other users, this is a dell firmware update issue that should be addressed eventually. I plan on purchasing the extended warranty through dell if they’ll allow it. Overall it’s a great laptop with a premium touch. Battery life is quite good. The speakers and the build quality really blew me away in the x16. I’ve had some premium gaming laptops in the past (razer, legion 7, zephyrus g16) but there’s honestly something special about the x16

Best optimization
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Best performance. Good quality. Good design. Better optimization than other brands. Hundred percent recommended.

Be sure to inspect the laptop, including components. They may not be what is listed.
The laptops in this Alienware x16 series are all monsters (or aliens, whatever lol), but be sure to do some digging to see if you got what you paid for. The laptop looks good and runs as expected. I hooked it up to a 34-inch ultrawide monitor (3440x1440), the RTX 4080, Ultra 9 185H CPU, and 32GB RAM play almost every game at max settings with smooth FPS. Stuff like 3D modeling and photo-editing is a breeze too. I like the keyboard, this one has the normal one, not the mechanical one. But I like it better because it's quiet and it's comfortable to type on. Also note it has Windows 11, if you don't want to make an online account just to use your computer, you have to use Terminal to reactivate the Local Account button during the setup stage. Then it's just a matter of removing bloatware with the usual utilities out there. Amazon says professionals inspect every laptop they have for resale, but...I don't know. Here are the problems I found: -The screen is listed as the 240Hz version, but the one received is 165Hz. It also clearly has a patch of dead pixels in the corner. -There were screws loose from the bottom and the shell wsn't assembled correctly after inspection. -The exhaust fins had dings in them because the big power adapter was just rattling around in the box. Ugh. -The hard drive and CPU are fine, so is the RAM because it's soldered to the motherboard. The battery health seems good, though this is something you'll keep plugged in all the time most likely. -The listing says you get a free year of Alienware Premium Support with this laptop, but you probably don't. I checked the service tag with Dell and it only has Basic Support. (Don't share your service tag with anyone but offical Dell support.) So anyway, if you paid almost $2000 for this used laptop, go ahead and be angry, that's a poor value. In the condition I got it, it has like $600 worth of mistakes, that's not something you should overlook.
