Superior treatment for fine woods
After moving, we emptied the existing can of Formby's Almond Lustre, and could find NONE locally. Amazon had the resources, and the product is well worth the price of shipping.I don't use this product on all our furniture - most of it's not worth it. I do have my Grandmother's set of Mahogany bedroom furniture, and on these pieces this product is perfect. The surface of this furniture absorbs routine oil treatments, but then gets cloudy and shows oily cracks in the finish. If after oiling, I give a good spray and rub down with the Almond Lustre, it "finishes" the surface of this furniture. The beautiful old mahogany pieces then glow with an even, low-lustre gleam that is lovely, and dusts beautifully. I haven't found any other product that even comes close. And the fragrance is nice - a subtle almond-nut that blends nicely with the wood smell. Highly recommended.

No better polish out there - this can be hard to find!
I used to regularly purchase this polish in a big box home improvement store. Then, one day, they no longer carried it. I went for years (before my Amazon shopping days) hoping to find it. By far this is the best polish I've ever used. It moisturizes the wood, leaves a shine like no other and last longer than anything else out there. I've even tried waxes and they won't hold up like this polish. The fragrance is a very pleasant almond - think almond cookies baking in the oven. You will only need to use this occasionally, not every week, when you dust. Well worth the cost and then some!

great product
I have been using this product for years. First found it at a local hardware store but they don't sell it anymore so I started purchasing it through Amazon. It is a little pricey for such a small can but it does an amazing job on my kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. Cleans and polishes them to a beautiful patina and the fragrance is truly like you were baking something with almond extract. I also use this product for all my wood furniture and there is never a build up of any kind. I would recommend trying this product. As with many other of the Formby line it stands up to it's name.

Simply the Best Furniture Polish
Formby's Almond Lustre gives your furniture a look that cannot be obtained by other products. I hate the smell of lemons and wanted a real scent. Formby's has an aroma that makes you wish you were a termite. It is fresh and unique. The polish leaves a shine and cleans as well. I even use it on flat finishes as a cleaner. I have wood tones to black lacquer and Formby shines them all. I have a slate table and just a quick application makes it shine more vibrant than when it was new. No one carries it so when I buy online, I get several. Buy it, you will never go back to the discount store brands.

Nozzle doesn't spray
The formby's polish is the best around, but the spray nozzle doesn't work properly....always getting plugged. My husband used his air compressor to unplug the nozzle, but that only lasts for a short time. In fact, this was a replacement order for a previous batch with the very same problem. Too bad, cause as previously stated , the product is probably the best around, but no good to me if it won't spray out of the container. I have switched to Old English almond, only because it at least is usable!

Throw out your other spray waxes and dusters.
We have used this for years on wood throughout our home. Everything but the floors. The aroma is pleasant and not overpowering. I won't let our housecleaners or any of the family use anything else. We use it on some pieces that are 100 years old. We do have one recently acquired french antique that is older that our dealer insists we use beeswax on so I haven't tried Formby's Almond on that yet but I am very tempted as I think we've seen better results on everything else in the house. Impossible to find locally. We've searched and searched and can't find it anywhere in the local bay area.

Formby Almond Lustre polish
I really liked this product and was pleased with how nice it made my wood furniture look but, after using it a couple of months my sprayer on the can quit working and it left a quarter or more of the contents in the can that won't come out. I would really like to get another can and try it, but I am hesitant that I might have this experience again. At almost $7 for 6oz., it is somewhat expensive to waste.

great product
other reviews sold me, and now I have it and am happy with it. It seems to do more with less effort than other brands, I have been surprised at how it works so well, with just a light pass sometimes. Spraying directly onto the wood, as it recommends, I find to be not such a good idea. There is over-spray that gets on things it shouldn't. So I just spray it into my wiping rag directly, and then wipe. Seems to do the job. I think they should just repackage it as a bottle that you pour a tiny bit into a rag and wipe. Just my opinion.
