Bonus Package Sonya Shabu Shabu Hot Pot Electric Mongolian Hot Pot W/DIVIDER with 6 spoons

I bought one of these a few months ago and I introduced my parents to the world of hotpot. The one I'm reviewing is the one I bought my mom because she just had to have one. I bought her the exact one that I did and it works like a charm. It heats both side of the pot evenly and you can adjust the temperature. It's easy to clean and store. The only issue is that it can get a little loud sometimes when you have the heat on the highest setting, but that's only because it has pressure on the plate because of the pot. So it's completely normal and it doesn't exactly detract from the overall experience. It's a great way to come together as a family in an intimate setting. Not to mention it's fun to use. I can't wait to do this when I have kids because they would get a kick out of it. FYI, if you're wanting some hotpot mix then look at the brand Little Sheep. It's the best to use in this hotpot! :D

We are newbies at this hot pot thing, and I expected the whole experience to be more complicated. What I found out, was that it’s as easy as chopping up some veggies and mixing up a simple broth. The pot works well and does everything I expected it to! Here are a few pointers (if you’re a newbie like me):1. Pre-heating the broth makes the meal go more smoothly, unless you have appetizers to take up time while the broth is heating. It’s faster to do on the stove and then add it to the pot, I believe.2. I’m nervous about safety things with my kids around, so we loosely tried the pot’s cord around the leg of the table and added an extension cord.3. Most of you already know this, but I didn’t… Most well stocked Asian grocery stores sell pre-sliced thinly cut meat in the frozen meat section. It saved a ton of time and turned out perfectly.Bottom line, is that we loved the pot and it helped us bring one of our favorite restaurant experiences to our own home. It was simple and easy to use, and seems to be very well-made. The seal between each side of the pot is watertight, and we immensely enjoyed having two different broths.

We enjoy hot pot and tried it for the first time last night. So far, so good, heated up fast, easy to clean, no complaints, only I can not say anything about long term reliability, fingers crossed on that one

We love this hot pot. We have used it 3 times now and it does not smell (a little the first time) or leak as some other reviewers said.The broth gets hot enough to cook the veggies and noodles and we can turn it down so it’s not boiling all the time. What a great winter meal. We plan on having Hot Pot or Shabu Shabu Fridays as part of our routine. What a great meal to bring the family together.

I did followed the suggested instructions, and previous reviews by filling both sides , turning the pot on high, and adding some food coloring to one side. It's been on full boil for at least 10 minutes with no color transfer (see picture). Will update if any concerns after first meal, but upon test, the pot heated quickly, didn't leak, and was easy to assemble. There is a little bit of noise, but it's tolerable.

I've only used this a handful of times, but I've been very happy with it for hot pot. The divider is nice for doing both plain and spicy broth. The pot seems sturdy and heats up well. Very easy to use.

This is a solid pot and the extra spoons are perfect for our family. It heats up super fast and the cord is a good length.I was looking for a hot pot for a number of months. This Sonya Shabu is high quality and isn't overly expensive.Very happy with the purchase.

I love my hotpot, it's amazing! Easy to use, easy to clean. It's a lot bigger than I thought it was as well.I bought this for a white elephant exchange I had last year and I won it back because I wanted it. Lol
