It might be kinda pricey but you can't knock the quality. It's super thin measuring at 0.5mm. (The plastic you pull off is 0.05mm so I've accounted for that). I'm only using this on some shelving I'm putting together so can't testify how good this would be for controllers etc that you're constantly gripping. But for some extra traction on shelving where you want to kind of stand things up without them slipping it's great. It's slightly textured which you can see from some of the photos, but to be fair you can generally only see that because I turned the flash on, it's very inconspicuous. You can gauge the size of the texture against the 5 pence piece I've put in a couple of the pics. I bought the black colour and it's definitely more black and not dark grey, some "black" rubber often ends up being slightly grey, but against my black shelving you cannot see a colour difference. It's not very stretchy, it has some give but it's minimal. So make sure you cut exactly the length you need. I had the 3 meter length which wasn't continuous, it came it 2 halves of around 180CM lengths taped together. But if you look at it like that you get an extra 60CM. Well... I did anyway. But yeah I'd definitely re-buy some if I was going to do something like this again. And I may just do.

The vacuum handle snapped off so, rather than buy another vacuum, my husband came up with the idea of wrapping this tape around the broken stem. It worked perfectly and now feels like you’re vacuuming with a large tennis racquet! It’s very sturdy too, hasn’t moved around at all.

It seems as if I can review this item, others having being denied to me by Amazon. This tape was ideal for me, to apply to a shoulder bag strap, to prevent it slipping off my shoulder. This it does well, but only if the overall mass of the bag is light. Don't expect it to work with heavy loads! For general purposes this tape is recommended.

Brilliant stuff this. I use it for all sorts of grip requirements- mice, mouse mat, electric toothbrush, handles. It’s sticky, sturdy and good value. Expect I’ll be getting another role soon.

tape wasn't that good as I needed to stick it down on a slightly angled surface on my ebikes throttle grip as there's literally zero elasticity in it so you basically can't manipulate the tape as your sticking it to the handle bars, plus the stickiness wasn't as good as I think it should have been as it was becoming unstuck I'm places so I ended up taping over the rubber tape with insulation tape so basicaly this rubber tape is no good for surfaces that arnt level but if your just taping up a flat part of say a metal bar then it would probably do fine but as it doesn't stretch whatsoever it's very differcult to stick down so it didn't work for me unfortunately. I wouldn't say £13 for just 3 metres is value at all as 3 metres is just 9 feet which is hardly anything.

I used this to provide a little bit of purchase for my guitars while resting on my leg, as a beginner learning guitar my form and posture isn't perfect and the guitar was slipping and frustrating me but a strip of this tape has resolved the issue.

What a wonderful product. It's thin, flexible, and the clue is very strong, makes contact perfectly... I even pulled back and readjusted and it took it. On a hard textured surface it formed a strong connection. 11mm Ribs on a gun hard case, these made it slid all over the place. The tape is now the rubber feet and it grips extremely well. The textured grip is wonderfully designed, tape is thin and flexible but strong. The glue is a perfectly balanced engineering solution. I am very happy with it.

I purchased this for a number of uses, where I needed to provide a more positive grip and it certainly seems to do that, though how long that grip will last in use, remains to be seen. Once the backing tape is removed, the adhesive seems to be strong. Removing the backing tape is a bit of a fiddle and I found it impossible to start it going, using my nails and had to resort of using the tip of a craft knife blade to lift a corner, but once that was done, the tape peels off easily.

Purchased a powerty ladder for my SUV, the tape that comes with the purchase really sucks! So we purchased the rubber grip tape, it is a thousand times better, an upgrade. This will no doubt during and after the installation process protect the paint of the vehicle. If you purchase one of these ladders, do yourself Justice and purchase this grip tape. It doesn't tear, it doesn't crumble, this tape adheres perfectly, it's very easy to form without bubbles and nonsense. This is a definite upgrade, utilizing this tape.

Great ‘grip’ tape! I could not find anything close to this in local retail stores, but to my surprise it was on Amazon! I really needed something to provide grip on a handheld shower head that is all chrome. Soapy hands and MS make for a lot of bending to retrieve the lost sprayer, which gets water all over the bathroom. This tape has an adhesive side and a rubber-like grip side which fixed my issue perfectly. Easy to apply, a quick glue-setting pass under a hot hairdryer and problem solved. Highly recommend. (I heated the tape once it was applied and left it to set overnight before using it in the shower.)

Fingerboarders rejoice, and alternative to the thick foam, and the painful sandpaper, this stuff is awesome. The texture is perfect, it's nice and thin allowing you to feel the concave of the board better, and the rubber doesn't absorb as much impact as the foam grip, so it pops a little better. Takes a little bit of getting used to, but I love it now.

Works great! I used it on some animal clippers and a slippery remote. It is pliable and conforms to your item nicely.
