My son loves the Pura insulated water bottle. It was a little heavy and a little big for him to pick up at first (started using at 5-6 months), but now he does with no problem. No handle hasn't been a problem. We usually put about 100 ml in at a time. Sippy cup silicone lid - We used this a couple times but my son didn't like it. Straw silicone lid - HE LOVES THE STRAW. We have used this option ever since we determined the sippy cup lid wasn't for us. He also chews on it and it has held up fine (about 6 months now!). EDIT: the braces in the lid have broken & we will buy a replacement. It lasted almost a year. PRO - it comes with two inner straw attachments. CON - water leaks (not gushes out but definitely dribbles out if tipped/on its side). CON - The lid that came with the sippy lid doesn't fit well over the straw. It mushes it down and can be made to fit, but is obvious that it wasn't made to do so. Big Mouth Sport Cap - EDIT: It's fantastic. My son is now 16 months old & can drink from it. He is trying to put the cap back on by himself but can't quite do it yet. If it tips over without the lid on it, water does spill out. It doesn't pour out when the lid is on it. Silicone Cover - It is a beast to get on and off the bottle for washing! I think I've only ever taken it entirely off once. EDIT: We've been using it for almost one year and it is still difficult to put on and take off. Silicone Bumpers - These are easy (but not too easy) to take on and off. I'm thankful for them - they prevent dents in the floor and bodies from accidental drops. EDIT: Still really thankful for the bumpers! The actual bottle itself - the inside is really nice. Ounces and Millileters are engraved inside the bottle so you know how much liquid you're putting in. I thought that was a nice feature. We haven't put hot liquid in the bottle, but it has kept the warm water that we put in warm. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. 😀

The new straw is perfect and solved the issue of the old straw! We love Pura cups, my almost 4 year old son is still using his originals with his younger sister is joining in!

We love all things Pura brand! Quality, great customer service if you have any issues, and the no plastics is key! So good!

We use these in our son’s Pura bottle for milk. They are a perfect alternative to plastics and he does a great job drinking from them. We have had some small issues with the tip of the straw staying slightly open and leaking. However, the biggest issue is that after 6 months the internal flaps that seal to stop leaks have torn. You need to be sure and use the skinniest straw brush you can find to not stretch them too much. This is still the best alternative to plastics we have found. We will continue to order them.

Bought for Christmas! Love this brand, these straws are leak proof and work with our pura stainless water bottle. Love buying from clean brands!

Love the products from this company, but when I first bought this for my son's bottle the straw insert fell out a few times. He is a very active little boy but I was a little disappointed. Then I realized the straw top can work just as well without the insert, you just have to tip the bottle to drink, which my son was used to doing with his sippy cups anyway. So in the end I removed the straw insert and the bottle works great. We will try the insert again when he gets a little older and isn't so rough with his things.

One of the most over-priced, poorly-made items I've purchased for my child. My son has one bottle, and that's a small Pura bottle. I began with the infant nipple, switched to the sippy top, and then to the straw. After successfully using the other two tops, for six months each, the straw was a logical transition. I was looking for a straw, specifically, to support proper oral motor development. I figured the straw was a safe (though overpriced) buy. I WAS WRONG. This thing is disgusting!!! Fluid builds up in the long top spout of the straw, and just sits.It's a pain in the rear to clean out, and the mouth of the straw is exceedingly easy to break. Every time my son used it, he was supervised. Thank God, because in short time he was able to quickly bite off pieces of the straw mouth. It's also very hard to drink out of. (Like drinking a Wendy's Frosty with a straw, hard.) Just beyond disappointed. Please save your money. Don't buy this. Honestly disappointed in the other reviews as well, that helps this straw get better ratings than it seems it ought to. The brevity is quite suspicious. Seems more like company-sponsored reviews (directly or indirectly) to boost the rating.

These only lasted about 8 months and the tops started leaking and ripped. For the price it should last a little longer.
