M1-K9 Big Military Dog Collar (Gen. 2, Adj. 16"-22", OD Green)

Didn’t realize the sheer size of this collar until I got it in person. It is the same construction and durability of an army pistol belt. Adjusting isn’t difficult. The weight of the collar isn’t annoying to my Mal. There is a lot of room for adjustment as well. My girl is only 4mo old and approximately 27 lb for sizing reference. With age I for see the belt being more mailable. For the price it’s worth it. I only gave a 4 star because of the buckle, it seems like decent quality but with a collar this durable and a dog with a decent pull, I don’t think it will hold up for a long period.

Great product! Very sturdy and durable. The collar is quite thick so if you are looking to use a training collar as well, I would either purchase an additional collar for use with the training collar or just purchase a different one entirely. I dont use mine too often yet at least. I have a one year old german shepherd, which btw this collar adjusts so much and still looks good, it fit him when he was 3-4 months old and still fits with room to adjust larger. But I train with him at Sit Means Sit and we use an e-collar on him purchased through SMS and made by Sport Dog (you can find them on Amazon for much cheaper than what I paid through SMS... I highly recommend those as well) and I also use a slip leash for walks and training as i have more control over him (Mountain Dog is the brand I believe, $40 but lifetime warranty including if the dog chews it up... another thing I highly recommend) and this collar is just so wide... it just does not work with the training collar and leash...

Just wanted to say I love this collar. My neighbors pit bull jumped into my yard today and rushed towards me (mind you this pit does have a history of aggression and was not provoked) My German shepherd intervened and the pit began fighting with my K9 visibly being bit on his neck throughout the fight (my dog won for the record). Upon breaking up the fight (being bit in the process) and getting the pit bull out of my yard I looked over my dog to asses the damage to find no blood or bite marks on his neck. Once I looked over the collar I did observe bite marks on the metal grommets and some frayed fabric. As a result I would like to thank the makers M1K9 for there product that not only looks awesome but also protected my best friend Charlie who definitely protected me. From here on out this is the only collar I will be putting on my K9s.

The large clasp is great but needs an inner neck guard. If you remove the dogs collar regularly every time you reclasp te ther collar you risk painfully pinching the dogs neck skin in the clasp. This happened once and now my dog is terrified of the collar. If it had that design feature I would give it 5 stars.

I absolutely love this collar. I got it in the army green and it looks great! I have a 90 lb (growing) Rottweiler and this collar is both stunning and comfortable on him. I get nothing but compliments and the hook for leash attachment is very secure (more than it looks, and important for strong dogs). The attachment pouch for a leash seems a little too much and I almost immediately removed it. Also it comes with a dog tag with the specs (size, color, etc..) I took that off as well. My rottie loves his collar and it is super easy to adjust. I ordered the smaller size of the 2 and it is perfect on him fully expanded. I've already order the larger size as he is still growing and I already plan on using this collar again.

I'm not one to write alot of reviews, but thought this one was necessary...be warned, this collar is HUGE! It doesn't come across as such in the pic, but it is very wide (2 inches) and even the plastic clasp/buckle is huge.I have a large German shepard, and this thing just looks monstrous around her neck...they should have made it 1 1/2" instead of 2"...other than that, great collar

I have tried other tactical collars that my German shepherd has broken...not this one! It is truly sturdy, well made, and looks sharp. The collar comes with a leash that hooks in the carabiner clip and a tactical pouch for storage that easily snaps on his collar. I was worried this collar would be too large on my growing puppy and it is not, it suits his neck well. He is around 80 lbs and this collar gives him plenty of room to grow. The length is easily adjustable by the metal "teeth" on each end. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend!

This collar arrived on my front porch today and I was immediately struck by how thick, tough, well built and awesome looking it is. I immediately put it on Clyde, my Neapolitan Mastiff. He loves it and I love it. The color is perfect in him and he looks super cool wearing it. He looks like a tough guy with this on, even though he's a big old sweetheart. I think this collar makes him happy, and I know it makes me happy.This is the finest dog collar I have ever owned or seen. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
