Vaughn is trying to get their reputation back. So he is hiring a new horse trainer. Billie has a past of her own and a scandal in her families past so she worked hard to get out from all the stigma surrounding her and finally lands an interview on Gold Rush Ranch. She lands the job on the condition that she wins the races.I loved Billie she is a great FMC.. She has a take no crap attitude, she was fiery, sassy, quick witted and head strong. She knew where her morals lie and she wasn't going to change line. Their meet cute was funny and I just knew at that moment they had me hooked. I laughed out loud through the book, smiled and it had its emotional parts at the end. My favourite part was that whipping scene!!The connection Billie and Vaughn have is amazing and it transpires through every page, their wit and banter ughhh I just adored it!! The setting of the book is idyllic I was transported in to their world and craved to live along side them. The side characters were fabulous, the love Billie has for Hank someone who has been a father figure to her is beautiful. I have already read Flawless and Heartless so I am eager to read Violets story next. Elsie's writing is impeccable and I'm slapping myself for not reading this sooner!This book has so many good tropes-Small Town-Grumpy/Sunshine-Billionaire Alpha Hero-Sports Romance (horse racing)-Boss/EmployeeYou will be happy you read this!!

I loved all the characters. I couldn’t put this book down! A real easy read with a lovely story. Perfect

A good story with good characters but I do prefer the chestnut springs series. I will read the rest in this series though.

(More cowgirl tbh and I loved that for Billie).I really loved this book - super steamy, broody MMC, feisty stubborn independent FMC. Perfect tension building and also brilliant storytelling with an emotional heartfelt twist at the end.A truly enjoyable read.

This book was such a great read, as I’ve recently got into my small town romances, especially if the books are written by this author, as I recently read her chestnut spring series, which was phenomenal by the way.This book, however, is the epitome of a wholesome small town book with just the right amount of spice, banter and a great storyline and plot throughout the whole book. I think my only critique would be that I wish this book was longer as I was finding that the closer I got to finishing this book this Saturday I got. Cannot wait to read the rest of goldrush Ranch series..

The book seems good so far, I enjoy her writing so the review isn’t of her writing. The physical books page fell out when I turned it on chapter two, I can’t be bothered to send it back and wait for a new one as I am going on vacation and don’t have time to wait for it to come, hopefully it’s just a one off production line error!I’m going to have to return it more pages have fell out

Very cute story I loved both of the characters. I fell in love with billie just as much as I did Vaughn. I am really excited to read Cole and violets story though I’m not going to lie. This book was the perfect set up for them and I am very intrigued.Extremely easy, light, fluffy read. I always appreciate Elsie’s writing and how easily I immerse myself in it.

As always I start a trilogy back to front. I am a mess, I know!Elsie Silver amazes me with captivating writing and her powerful and strong female leads.

I’m honestly not surprised that this book is Elsie’s debut novel, she is such a talented writer! I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I absolutely loved our spitfire MFC Billie. I found her very relatable and loved her witty charm. I love the tension that builds in a workplace romance and when these two finally get together it’s like fireworks. I found this storyline SO endearing with DD our other main character (IMO) which is a race horse. I fell in love with this damn horse!I’m a sucker for an underdog story and this book brought on ALL the feels of accomplishments, perseverance and beating the odds. I loved the depth of this storyline and plot. I felt ALL the feels reading this book and got teary eyed several times closer to the end.🥺 The found family trope is one of my all time faves and this checked all the boxes! As a huge fan of The Eaton boys I was so excited to be introduced to their sister in this book, Violet Eaton. Her book is next in the series and I can’t wait! It’s really cool to see how Elsie’s writing style has evolved and with gaining experience since this series debut. Very excited to continue reading this series!

This is so good!! I love Elsie’s writing and after Chestnut Springs, it’s nice to see the development of new characters. I loved Billie and Vaughn and all the aesthetic of the Ranch, and am definitely going to read Violet’s story

This was a fantastic read and a great way to start of a new series!! I love a good enemies to lovers that has playful banter and all the juicy tension!Billie is wonderful, I can’t say enough good things about this character, she is hilarious, quick witted, smart, feisty and so passionate.Vaughn doesn’t know what hit when Billie waltzes into his life, these two have such an instant attraction-but they both are not having it, and cover it up but the love of pushing buttons!Vaughn was really a sweet character, and so much more than his persona. Especially when he is all shy and venerable and doesn’t know what to do to tell Billie he like likes her.I loved that these too slowly progressed into a friendship, and then more! All while never loosing their special connection and ability to rile the other up in the best way!This author gives us some great background for the characters, and a compelling story you don’t want to put down!I am immediately jumping into book 2, as we were teased wonderfully about some upcoming characters!4⭐️

I just love all books from Elsie Silver. Her humor is on point and I loved the story
