Amazing performance, esp for the price
We wanted a quality retro look speaker with Bluetooth and aux. Among our three finalists, this was by far the cheapest, but it looked promising so we gave it a try. Amazing! Way better performance than things that cost twice as much. The knobs have a great feel, very intuitive user interface.

I am so happy with this!
The media could not be loaded. Radio sounds clean, white noises sound real enough, love the knob feel with the retro clicks... haven't tried the Bluetooth function yet but I am thrilled with this item!

Good Quality, but Tuning Could Be an Issue
The media could not be loaded. This products comes neatly packaged in a retail box with foam padding. It includes a power adapter, Aux cable, and manual. The manual is very thin on details, but the radio is so simple to use, you really don't need more info.DESIGN:The radio is very attractive, and the wood enclosure is solid. It's real wood, and not thin plastic with a fake texture. The front dial lights up with different colors depending on which mode you're in. The cloth grill is very similar to the old radios and speakers. The knobs are difficult to read, but it's easy to remember them. The first knob is the mode dial, the second is the white noise selector, and the last one is the on/off/volume. The tuning dial turns very smoothly. The knobs and dials feel like they are made of plastic and metal. On the back, there is a small bass reflex port, as well as a sleep timer switch for white noise. Lastly, there is a power plug for the power adapter. I'm so glad they didn't add a battery, because I have too many portable devices to maintain already.FM RADIO:This radio comes with a telescopic antenna, and it receives a lot of stations. I never knew FM was still popular. I didn't expect there to be so many stations, and it's bringing back a lot of memories. Tuning into stations can be a bit tricky, because you have to move the dial back and forth to find the strongest signal. If the station drops out often, it needs fine tuning. Since the radio doesn't have PLL tuning, stations can fade or cut out, especially if someone is walking nearby. This can be annoying. I don't recall my radios doing this in the past. Perhaps it's because we installed aluminum tile roofing, and it's causing interference. I'll experience an occasional fade or drop out from the local station. The transmitter is only a few miles from here. Generally, the sound is good at low to mid volumes. At higher volumes, the speaker sounds shrill. If you want to buy this for the FM radio, then your favorite station must be local, and the signal must be very strong, otherwise you may be disappointed.BLUETOOTH:In bluetooth mode, the radio connected automatically to my CD player. The sound is very good compared to FM. It has a slightly deeper and richer sound. The dial blinks blue when in pairing mode, then becomes solid blue when paired. A voice says "connected" when pairing is successful.WHITE NOISE:I actually ordered this for the white noise feature to help me unwind and fall asleep. I didn't expect it to have so many options, but there are 6 different sounds to choose from. The timer switch on the back lets you choose between 30, 60 and 90 minutes. It turns off after the set time, but the dial remains lit, so the unit is still on. To reset it, you need to turn it off, and on using the volume knob.AUX:There is a mode for an aux input, but I didn't test it, because BT is more convenient. You need a device with a 3.5mm jack.VERDICT:This radio not only looks like a vintage radio, but it also sounds and feels vintage. By that, I mean the knobs and dials feel smooth and solid, just like the radios of old. I guess I was expecting controls that feel cheap and scratchy, but these feel surprisingly good. It's very old school. As for sound, I prefer a richer tone that modern speakers provide, but these have a nice vintage sound. It's not deep and bassy like a BT speaker, but it has a clean and clear sound that reminds me of radios I've used in the past. The only negative is the FM tuning. There are the occasional fade and drop outs. I'd give it 4.5 stars.

Old timey sound
I like the old-time look but I was hoping for less old-time sound. The speaker is just the about the size of the radio dial, so I don't know what miracle I was expecting.FM- Static, popping, and wavering sound. Works best at low volume.BT- Very easy to connect. Great for podcast or audio books, much worse than regular laptop speakers for other media.AUX - DNTWN- Very good, especially Bird and Chirp (aka Night). Music Box is the first time I heard this offering. If you love the look and realize this is not big or surround sound, you will enjoy this vintage piece.

I love this radio-Bluetooth speaker box!
First off, I absolutely love the retro design of this thing. It is simple but sleek and I love the glowing dial and metal dials. Very cool looking! The dial lights up a different color as you switch between input types.I have a thing for old-timey radios and was excited when I came across this. This box has multiple uses and features and works well after using it for about a week. The radio – works well, I had no problem picking up local FM stations. There is an antenna in the back to help boost your signal.Bluetooth Speaker – also works well. It might not sound as good as a higher-priced device, but it was more than suitable for my needs. It connects easily – wireless or with a cable (included).White Noise (Soothing sounds for better sleep) – There are a few different options for using this bedtime sound feature. There are nature sounds that include audio of the ocean, a creek, and chirping birds. There is an option to use music for this and a basic white noise crackle. It comes with timer settings so you can leave it on while you drift off without fear of leaving it running all night. As it states in the product description, this isn’t a completely wireless device. You will need to have the DC adapter (included) plugged in. There is no internal battery.I found this to be a welcome desktop addition to my office. The people I have shown it to, all were impressed by the design and expressed a desire to get on for themselves. So it would make for a great gift for many.
