This was my first time purchasing this product, and unfortunately I’ve had the same issue twice. The first bottle only worked for one use before the spray nozzle stopped working, and the bottle suddenly seemed empty. I contacted Amazon and they promptly sent a replacement, which I appreciated. However, the second bottle wasn’t much better. I was only able to use it three times before the spray nozzle stopped working again, and the bottle appeared empty. I really wanted to like this product, the formula itself worked great on my hair, but the nozzle quality makes it difficult to use and feels wasteful. It also seems like the bottles may not be properly filled. I hope the manufacturer improves the packaging, because the product itself seems ok, but it ends up being a waste of money if the bottle is almost empty and the nozzle doesn’t work.

This is hands down my favorite dry shampoo. I’ve tried many over the years. I used to have very thick hair, but wouldn’t get too oily. I experienced some medical related hair loss and now it gets oily much easier. This one smells great and really makes my hair look clean and bonus it gives a little extra volume. It also doesn’t make my head itch because I do have a sensitive scalp. I wish it was a little cheaper, but it works so well it’s hard to complain.

This was the best dry shampoo I’d ever used to control the oil in my hair. The first bottle I had was great, and I had no issues. Now I’m seriously wondering if I should ever buy this brand again. Like many other reviewers, I used a brand new bottle twice before it stopped working. I went to spray the product on my hair this morning, and the bottle felt nearly empty. Odd, considering it was a BRAND NEW BOTTLE. The pump wouldn’t work, either. I played around with it for a bit to try to fix it with no luck. Then I came on here and saw tons of other people had the same problem. Fix this, Amika. You have a great product, but you’re going to lose customers if this problem continues. This stuff is way too expensive to last for just two uses. I wish I could get my money back.

I’ve been a fan of Amika for a while, and I was excited to try the Perk Up Ultra Oil Control Dry Shampoo. It definitely works well for soaking up oil and is perfect for that last day before a wash, especially when you need your hair to look refreshed quickly. I brought it with me while traveling, and the size and performance made it super convenient. Compared to Amika’s Dry Plus Dry Shampoo, though, I find that this one leaves a little more residue in my hair. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s noticeable enough to drop one star. Pros: controls oil well, great for travel, refreshes hair in between washes. Cons: can leave some residue compared to Amika’s Dry Plus version. Overall, it’s a solid dry shampoo and worth keeping in your routine — just know there are better options within Amika’s line if residue is a concern, like the Perk Up Plus.

Best ever so worth the price!!!!! Love it! Works well on my thin hair! Pleasant smell soaks up the greasy parts! Buy it!

Not the type to leave negative reviews, but this one really deserves it! It was a one time use only! The container is small but not that small to use the product only once. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed, I do not recommend and definitely not going to buy again!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The product itself is amazing. But the tin/can/bottle it comes in dispersed/emptied the whole 250mls after the first use. I managed to get it on offer but still feel the price point is high, but needed to try something new as my scalp is very sensitive and really oily. It does the job. But £20 for something you can use once seems absolutely ridiculous. I have emailed Amika directly but not had any response yet.

The can empties itself! I thought this was a freak occurrence with the first can I purchased and, as I liked the smell of the product, I gave it another chance. The same thing has now happened with both cans - both of which arrived undamaged. I used a small amount of the product, turned the cap to the ‘locked’ position and when I went to use it again some days later, found that the entire product had discharged itself! I’ve essentially paid £60 for two uses of this dry shampoo. Don’t waste your money! I’ll stick to other, more reliable brands. Not happy at all.

Very disappointed with this product. It works brilliantly as a dry shampoo better than any of Every used. However, I only got two sprays out of it before it was gone. It was as though the product just evaporated all 250 mls of it. I kept it in a very cool place as I had read some similar reviews online but it still happened. I really hope the manufacturers find a way to prohibit this.
