Great replacement
I had the same roaster for twenty-plus years but it eventually failed. This roaster is an excellent replacement. I find the top window a very good improvement, too.

I want to return this item.
I use it for cooking whole chickens, or a turkey. Also to make spaghetti sauce for canning. I am totally disappointed with this item. Whatever the large roasting pan is made of is garbage. You can not get it clean, it is baked on there, and will not come off. I've soaked it in hot soapy water for two days, refilling with hot water numerous times, and it will not come clean.

Outside is very hot to transport, nice roaster though
Nice roaster, but the outside gets so hot you can’t touch it! Making football meals for our football team and it has a great space for big meals, but transporting is hard because the outside is so hot. Be safe when transporting this! Wish they made a potholder like cover for the base to transport
