I really enjoyed this book as it had lots of pictures of what the soap is suppose to look like. I also enjoyed how to infuse different prodducts. Loved this book.!!! Glad I purchased this one.

I am new to soap making and this book is perfect for me. I am really enjoying soap making. The recipes are easy to follow and you can add a personal touch to them to make them your own. This is by far the best soap making book around.

Good informational book and lots of recipes for making soaps.

Love this book. Simple natural recipes. Doesn't require dozens of oils, different ingredients and fragances. I like it simple and mostly natural so it is perfect for me.

This is a beautifully illustrated guide to making your own soaps that are lightyears better in quality than what you will find on the supermarket shelves these days. We like the fact that author Gomez provides plenty of background information on each key ingredient used in her recipes and outlines the specific healing and beneficial effects it will have on skin, such as cinnamon for its antiseptic power, chocolate as a moisturizing agent, or carrot for rejuvenation and healing of irritated skin. The step by step instructions provided are easy to follow, but don't be fooled -- making homemade soap requires the same patience and persistence necessary to create any quality artisinal product. If you are searching for ways to incorporate more plants, flowers and natural ingredients into your life and your beauty care regimen, this book may inspire you to master the art of soap making!

I am a veteran soap maker. I bought the book thrilled that i would learn something new. However ALL of the recipes are the same with the exception of step # 6 which supposedly creates the differences in the soap. Anyone who has any experience with soap making will soon find that the soaps pictured are NOT the result of the recipes given in e book. If you look at the first page there is the list of photo credits given to iStockPhoto.com and Oceana Amber archives. The photo of bay laurel soap even bears the Syrian manufecturer's stamp IN ARABIC!! Majority of soaps shown are clycerin based soaps that are IMPOSSIBLE to make following the recipes in the book I could not find anything on the author, nor did anyone interviewed her in person. This book is based on many pretty pictures and nothing else! I wouldn't even donate this book to a public library for this book is a shinig example of nicely packaged FRAUD
