LOERUMG OBD2 Scanner Diagnostic Tool, Enhanced Check Engine Code ReaderI have an older vehicle and the check engine light came on, so I took it to the store for evaluation and purchased the necessary repairs. I quickly ordered this product thinking that I would need it in the very near future, and sure enough - no more check engine light since I received it! I can say it looks and feels like the unit the store used to evaluate my car, but until I or anyone I know have a check engine light on I can't be sure if it works. I will update once I am able to use it.

I am not great with fixing cars, but I want to get better. I haven't had any troubles with this diagnostic tool and have enjoyed learning more about different issues it can find. Easy to read and use.

We had me a farm and a lot of vehicles that constantly need servicing. We try to do our own work (when possible). This code reader is super handy to have. It’s user friendly. It comes with instructions on how to use it.It’s good quality and the screen is very readable.It works for vehicles NEWER than 1996. The oldest we’ve tried it with is a 2002.It’s easily connected and displays information clearly.If you’re a DIY mechanic or work on vehicles, this reader is a good value for the price.

This OBD2 scanner is a significant improvement over our previous model. It boasts superior features, functionality, and ease of use. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase.

This is a pretty nice tool, with some caveats. To use it, turn on your vehicle and plug in the tool. It will scan your vehicle for standards that it can communicate with, and then provide you with the options available. I tried in on my 2012 Toyota Prius 5, and it seemed to work well.However, when I went to the web site listed in the manual to see if there are any updates, it appears to only be a façade. There isn't anything on the web site that is accessible. All of the pages are static, with no option to do anything or download anything. I then did a background check on the web site, and found that the domain was created on 02/26/2024, but the WHOIS data is incomplete/non-existent.This is why I only gave it 3 stars. It does work with my vehicle, but at the time of this review, there is no support, no updates, and the domain is less than 3 months old. If this should change, I'll post an update.UPDATE 05/22/2024:The seller contacted me stating that they hadn't updated the website with the latest code, so I went to the "updated" website. The only change that I could see is that it appears that they fixed the broken link on the "Download" tab. I was able to download a RAR file that contains an installer for an UpgradeTool. It didn't trigger a virus warning, so I installed it, and was prompted to enter OEM information.I am a software engineer, and it looks like this is a branded OEM device, but the company selling the device hasn't actually gone through the entire branding process. A lot of the information presented is in Chinese, so I am not able to read it. If you can find the actual manufacturer of the product, you might have a better experience than I have, but for now, I am going to leave my rating as it is.I'll try to remember to check back at the end of the year, to see if there are any changes. If nothing has changed, I will reduce my rating down to 1 star, as that would mean this is a product that should be avoided.

This reader is definitely an upgrade from the one we already had, it displays way more and functions better

I scanned my 2006 Honda Pilot and the scanner automatically recognized my vehicle and gave easy to read information. Just plug it into the port under the dash while the car is running and tell it to scan. I don’t currently have any errors on my vehicle and it did show me 0 failures on the results page. The tool is very easy to use with a layout that is simple to navigate. I do feel that with this tool I would be able to diagnose a problem before taking the car to the mechanic.
