I'm using this to make braid in loc extensions. This stuff is super shimmery. It's texture is rough and scratchy, and tangles easily. I think that's how its supposed to be so I'm giving it five stars. Very light weight and locs really well, nice and tight.

I was skeptical about using braiding wool, but it worked out great. Braids looked natural without all the nasty chemicals of regular braiding hair. Would use again.

Im giving it a 3 because it is scratchy on the skin, which was what I was trying to avoid.It looks really good once it is braided, but I had to pull my hair up into a bun to wear this.Packaged nicely and comes with a crochet hook, but it's just the quality of the yarn for me. Maybe it's because it's acrylic, but I have had other hair yarn that was much softer

This is what I use now. I feel it so much better than kikolon hair, much better. I went to You Tube and it has so much on handling, and hairstyles. It helped.
