I’ll give it five stars- I’m sure it works perfectly in somebody else’s printer, but for Hewlett-Packard it refused to accept the black ink cartridge -which left me no other option then to return both of them as they came in a set.

But these cartridges and the black does not work it's defective my printer keeps saying remove and reinstall indicated into cartridges making sure it's correctly installed then push okay I keep doing it and getting the same message I put my old cartridge in and it's fine bad cartridges

Very easy to install and didn’t encounter any issues with the printer when installing the refurbished cartridges. Loved saving money on these compared to name brand

I bought this 2 pack and the Black ink cart works great. When I went to put in the color cart, my printer gave me a "HP Protected Cartridge. Install new cartridge." error message. I checked into it and good old HP, in an attempt to dominate the ink market, has set it up on newer printers that once you insert the cartridge, it "locks" it to where you can only use it on THAT ONE PRINTER--ONLY! So much for recycling, right? According to my research (aided by Mr. Google) there's no way for us commoners to fix this, so the cart is trash. But don't despair! The company gives you a 12 month warranty (even though Amazon's is only 30 days). There's no easy way to contact the seller, but Amazon is handling their customer service, so contact them. They gave me a 50% refund for the bad cartridge. So, 4 * for the product, with one removed for not testing the carts.
