It fits on either arm, and is comfortable b/c I use the neck strap diagonally across the top of my shoulder. Doing it my way means it doesn't cause a lot of pressure on your neck. It carries plenty of stuff too. Would definitely buy it again.

My husband has a nerve injury on his shoulder and needs to have support for his shoulder. It's light weight but sturdy, the length on the arm pocket is decent, easy to adjust to size, pocket in the front is a good bonus. Breathable fabric. Shoulder pad long and comfortable.

The arm support is comfortable. The padding on the neck is too short. It is helpful having a clip for opening and closing. Their is insufficient ability to shorten the strap; my hand would hang too low. I'm petite and needed the hand in an elevated position. With assistance I placed office clamps on each side of the strap with the front portion folded upward . It still did provide the optimal position, but at least my hand wasn't hanging downward.

I have large shoulders from years of weight lifting and the sling I was given at the hospital was just painful. This sling allows much more comfortable wearing experience. The extra internal and external pockets add a ton of utility.
