Purchased this speaker to replace another (from a different maker) that was lost/stolen. I went with this as a replacement, as the price was better, and it looked like it would be a good size for my needs.Unfortunately, the sound quality is quite poor. Very tinny and muffled sounding. If you are purchasing this to primary listen to audiobooks or podcasts, you might be okay....but if you are planning to listen to music, look elsewhere.

I got this mainly for travel. The magnetic clip intrigued me - I cruise frequently and with ship walls being made of steel, being able to attach a speaker to a wall means one less thing cluttering the somewhat modest desk, table and nightstand areas available.Unfortunately I misunderstood that clip. While I thought it would allow the speaker to attach to a magnetic surface, it does not. Instead you use a separate piece to "clip" the speaker to clothing. But I'm not sure the point, since those magnets are literally built into the clip itself. I suppose if you want to clip the speaker to an area not adjacent to an opening in your clothing, the magnetic clip could be useful. But frankly that would probably mean the speaker being so far from your head that it would be useless anyway.The sound this generates is both modest and tinny. My smartphone's speakers do a better job on their own. And to get sufficient volume to hear music beyond a couple of inches from my ears I had to crank up the volume on my phone to nearly full blast. Even then the music was not loud enough to really enjoy.So it seems to me that this device has one, real intended purpose - to be clipped to one's collar, placing it immediately next to ears and not far from the mouth. Even then, if you are anywhere outside or in a noisy, interior environment, I don't think you'll be hearing much of anything anyway.On the positive side, it is cute, small and very lightweight. But I'm afraid the "lightweight" adjective extends beyond the item's reading when placed on a scale in this instance... I say "pass" on this one, and just use earbuds.

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve not worn earbuds or headphones when jogging for years because I truly believe it is unsafe. Closing your ears off to the outside world while you run through traffic is not wise and a wearable speaker such as this is more desirable. Your tunes keep you motivated and your ears are free to hear an approaching car from behind you or a dog’s bark. The speaker is fairly lightweight and works best when attached at nearly the center of your upper chest where the least swinging and bouncing occur.Phonecalls come through loud and clear and you simply push the main/power button once to answer and hang up. I have this speaker on me when I’m folding laundry and puttering around the house so I can listen to my favorite podcasts but not irritate my wife when she inevitably calls me from elsewhere in the house and I can actually hear her and respond.This is an awesome little wearable speaker and I highly recommend it!

I work with my hands so having a phone isn’t always easy. This clips to my shirt (clip or magnet) and lets me use one-touch to answer or ignore calls. Speaker is great with adjustable volume and callers don’t complain about not being able to hear me. Very happy
