My shoes have been stacked & piled on various types of shoe racks over the years, none of which worked quite right for me. I'm glad to finally find one that will keep them organized AND clean! It wasn't hard to put together but it took awhile. A tool is included that will help get it done. It says 8 cubes (which makes it sound like 8 individual, standalone cubes) but it's really 4 cubes that are double wide with a divider in the middle, and double tall, so each cube has room for 4 pairs of shoes. It all snaps together snugly and is fairly sturdy. The solid top, bottom, & sides are all soft vinyl. It feels good, but I'd be very careful about putting too much weight directly on the vinyl as it would probably eventually tear where it connects to the frame. I keep wanting to set stuff on the top of the unit, but have to remind myself to stop. The weight of shoes is fine, but probably not a heavy pile of clothes. My only complaint is that it comes with 4 cubes and my closet space is only tall enough to stack 3 of them, so I have the 4th extra cube that I'd like to use somewhere else, but there's only 1 piece of the top/bottom vinyl so it can't be used as standalone unit (unless the top or bottom is left open, which sort of defeats the purpose of keeping the dust out). I contacted the manufacturer directly and they don't (or won't) ship just that 1 extra piece. Kinda pisses me off cuz I know they've got it. They just won't provide it. The unit "looks" modular, and could very easily BE modular, but it's missing that one piece that pretty much makes it HAVE to be used in just that 1 configuration that's shown in the picture (4 cubes high, each of them double wide). I'm still giving it 5 stars because I do love the 3 pieces I can use, but protesting that one annoying design flaw. (Manufacturer, are you reading this??)

I bought this to help store my towels, washcloths, etc. It was super easy to assemble and set up. The pockets are deep, deep enough to each hold 2 towels rolled up. It is sturdy and hangs easily from the door. I am pleased with this purchase!

Looks fab and is perfect for closets. Pretty easy to put together once you get the hang of. (The little clip-on hooks to hold the shelves need to clip onto the black non fabric covered parts of the side pieces.) <— this part needs to be added to the instructions because the side pieces have to be turned a specific way to accommodate the clips. Only gave it 4 stars because I put it together in a slightly different orientation (picture) and now have leftover pieces, but hey I can always reconfigure another time.

I got these for both my wife and I closet. I use it more for bag storage vs her she uses it for her shoes. It is easy to assemble, works great and looks great. It fits about 32 pairs of shoes and about 10-12 bags.

I just put this together last night. I was so tired of having loose shoes or boxes stacked upon boxes taking up space in my closet. It's not hard to put together you just need to be meticulous and pay attention because you don't wanna have to go back and redo. The quality is excellent, sturdy, looks great once it's finished, it's worth the value, plenty of room and it's overall versatile and can be used for more then shoes & it's not overly heavy. I recommend it highly with all its versatility.

Love this - a little tedious to put together but it’s worth it. Makes the closet look so much neater and it organizes shoes nicely!

Easy to assembled and good quality .

It does hold a good amount of shoes. I do wish some of the cubby holes were bigger though because some of my boyfriends 10.5 shoes have a hard time fitting. It's supposed to fit them based on the description but we have to lay some of them on their side and can only put one pair in that spot where it should fit 2. It is very sturdy though. I have a lot of shoes in it and stuff on top and hanging on the side hooks and have had no issues with studiness. I did nail it to my wall with the little ribbons they give you. I can see this being lightweight when we go to move. I'm not sure how long it will last because some of the hard plastic pieces were already breaking around the metal rods inside of it when I took it out of the package. It was worth the money but it's not the greatest quality where it will last for 10 years. I built it the wide way (3 rows each) and wish i would've built it long was (2 rows each) because of space. There was no way I was taking it apart though since it did take me a few hours to put it together. I am not sure the plastic could handle me taking it apart either though. You can put whatever you want in these. We use it for our shoes and one top cubby has some t shirts and socks in it. It has kept our shoes protected and clean. Some shoes turn yellow over time (especially air forces and some Jordan's) and this will help keep that from happening.
