This is a great price for a "high" dose chewable vitamin for kids. I love that there are no artificial dyes. 2/3 of my kids love the taste and the other one deals with it. They are a size that can be choked on but we've never had problems with that with our 2 year old.

TASTE VERY GOOD WILL BUY AGAIN

I'd have given this 5 stars, but it can be a little hard to swallow on occasion. I've been taking 4-6000mg of vitamin C a day for the last several months on a recommendation from my doctor. I've suffered from moderate to severe allergies year round for as long as I can remember. I LIVED off Zyrtec and other allergy meds. A couple of weeks after I started with the vitamin C regimen, my allergies became non existent or minor. I no longer need to take prescription or OTC allergy meds and I feel a lot better. Those things made me either tired or twitch depending on what it was. I don't have that problem anymore. The side benefit is I haven't been sick with so much as a cold since I started taking this much. While everyone else at work was out left and right I was fine. I don't get flu shots either. The fact that I made it through the winter without getting sick is amazing since I work in a hospital.

If you like a good tasting pill, this one has a good tang and orange flavor.

I have been using Vitamin C for several years. I used to stay sick with upper respiratory and sinus infections. All of those years and never did a dr. try to find out what was causing the constant infections. 5 yrs ago, a dr. told me that my immune system was gone. I had been on constant antibiotics and cortisone for decades. That day, I thought of what was told to me from a dr. that I trust. I decided I would never let any one but me decide what I was going to put in and take out of my body. I started researching all of my many symptoms. I knew they had to be connected but for the last 10 years I was sent to many drs who would treat the symptom of that relapse. Then they would send me home with a prescription in hand. As I researched herbs and supplements, I came across something very interesting. For many years there were a few who would say that Vitamin C could make your cold leave faster but not much was said about it other then that. Vitamin C is a natural antibiotic. I am not a doctor or even a nurse. I am just a woman who was really sick of being sick. I have not had a respiratory infection in 4 1/2 years. I do have multiple sclerosis. Now that we all have access to computers, there is no reason why we would not understand our bodies and what can work for you when you need it. Either good or bad for you. Vitamin C is usually a safe thing to try when you are fighting an infection or do not want to get sick. The only problem with this one is that you smell the vit. C when you put it in your mouth. Never try anything without weeks of research and always talk to your doctor before trying any supplements. Your local pharmacist has a wealth of knowledge for anything pharmaceuticals. Many times we do not think of asking them for help but you should. I have used many brands of Vitamins and supplements. Kirkland is a brand I have used for years and I am very happy with the results of using this company. One thing I have learned for me is that vitamin C really works as well as a lot of the antibiotics that is a prescription from a pharmacy. I am so happy that his bottle has 500 tablets in it. You get what you pay for. I do not have to wonder if my Kirkland vit. C will work. It does.
