Jeep rear window replacement straps by American Outlaw. 2 straps come in package. Sold here on with *No 3rd party markups involved. American Outlaw original part. Made in America by an American Veteran. These straps are not elastic, so they won't stretch out like elastic. Just unsnap the factory straps and replace them with the American Outlaw straps. Roll up that rear window tightly. Safer too, by allowing you to see out the rear window better by holding the window up out of the way. These straps work on the OEM factory soft tops, the original or Jeep factory replacement tops. Not other brand tops. Fits TJ and JK Jeeps. If your rear window is cloudy or torn, see my listing for a new soft top rear window for 2007 to 2009 OEM soft top.

better than perfect replacement to the factory straps
I don't know why I didn't get these much sooner. The factory ones from 2007 had stretched out to barely have any elastic in them anymore. Just to keep the window rolled up mostly i would have to tie them. If I just let them hang the window it would be about half way down. Even when new, the window would hang down a bit.these let me tuck the window tightly against the soft top frame and its out of the way. looks way better. holds the window way better. i'm much happier. These should be what Jeep gives you from the factory.

Waste of Money!!
Have a Jeep? You must have a lot of money then, right?? Like to just throw away your beer $$ on useless items that break upon taking them out of the package? Well, take your $24.99 and buy these replacement straps, you will be 5 star satisfied!! OK, seriously now. I snapped them on, rolled up my rear window, and as I was adjusting the strap (in my opinion should be a couple inches longer), the snap broke! At first I thought it just came unsnapped but looking at the strap I could see that the end of the snap stayed inside the other piece on the frame. Now I have to take the other side off, right? When I pulled on the other side to unsnap it, that side broke too! I was just disappointed. Most of the reviews were decent and I didnt expect them to last forever for $25, but seriously, only 1 day?! I left a review for the seller in hopes to work things out and and not have to leave a bad review here but I haven't heard back yet. I have attached a photo of the broken product, all I would like is to be refunded since i cannot use them. On the bright side, the description was 100% accurate when it stated that the straps will never sag like the factory ones do. That's true, since they will not last long enough to sag!! TIP: instead of buying these, you can go to your local DIY store and purchase all velcro straps for securing electrical cords. It will fit around the frame where the stock snaps are and voila, fixed. The all velcro straps will never sag either and cost less that $25!! Hindsight is 20/20. I hope this helps the fellow Jeepers out there.

Be careful with the snaps
The product held my window up really well. Till the snap broke on one. Just ordered another pair though, since they're way better than the stretchy straps.

These are a huge improvement over the OEM product.
If you have a soft top jeep, this is the solution for properly rolling up the rear window and it is 10,000% better than the OEM solution. This product is very well designed, simple to use and very well made.

Snaps fell off as soon as I installed them. No support from seller.
The design is perfect, BUT....I installed on my JK and the the snaps fell of the velcro material the first time I tried you use them. Could not get any response from seller. Had to take them to local upholstery shop the have new snaps put on. The uphulsterist said the snaps that came with this product were installed very poorly. Obviously because they just fell apart. $24 was a steep price to pay in the first place....then they just fell apart when I installed them. Very disappointed. If you are looking for straps to hold up the rear window on your Jeep I would NOT recommend the American Outlaw straps.

They work better much than the stock straps.
One of the snaps broke apart. I didn’t reach out and maybe I should have. I glued it back together (twice) and it working fine. It’s a great design otherwise and exactly what I was looking for. I wish that straps like that came standard although not an issue with the 2018 Jeeps.

My rear Jeep window is high and tight
This set of straps works to keep the plastic window on my unlimited up out of the way and straight. The old factory straps stretched out and the window hung down, blocking my view. I do wish the straps were a little wider and about three inches longer. This would make it easier to handle and it would work better when you the window gets stiff from the colder weather. Overall, much better than the original but I hope they read this and make them bigger.Update, I've had mine on for a few months and the first time I tried to roll the window up when it was cold and stiffer, the strap broke at the rivet.

Button broke on first run!
My buddy bought something similar, and his were awesome. They kept the window tight and looking good. So I bought the Outlaw brand straps last November and on the first sunny day I strapped them on. Unfortunately the button broke upon tightening ..... I will say the one that works looks great!
