ELEGANT 760mm Bifold Shower Door Glass Shower Enclosure Reversible Folding Cubicle Door

I was reluctant to buy the cheaper of two options when choosing a new bifiold shower door. It was for a rental property and experience has taught that cheapest usually carries some disadvantages usually in ease of installation. I am not a professional but consider myself an experienced DIY plumber. I assembled the door offsite and managed to work out how to reverse the operation in the door without too much problem even though the written or video instructions make no mention of how to do this. (Why Not?). Installation was remarkably easy and I was very impressed with the design of the product in dealing with out of align walls. Although it says it needs two people for the installation I managed it fairly easily on my own. The quality of the product is not indicated by the price and although I cant speak to the longevity I think it was an excellent buy.PS Does anyone know why or what the sheerness rating on this site refers to I left It blank

genuinely surprised at what you get for the price. its a bog standard shower door, made of decent materials and so far its performing well. only issues to note: as others have mentioned the instructions are pants however there is an associated YouTube video that shows how to assemble and it really is quite straightforward. only thing about the video is there aren't any audio instructions - just some background music. I'm assuming this is manufactured in the Far East so maybe they don't have the capacity to produce good quality instructions in English. I think the importers for this product could take some responsibility and add some captions to the video. The one thing that could be improved on is the rubber sealing strip only just about covers the gap between the door and the frame. this could have been made just a few millimetres bigger to ensure a sound fit. also some of the screws - the head strips easily so be careful when assembling the frame. would I buy this product again - yes.

The product is very good quality and looks so much nicer than the unit that it replaced. However, as other reviewers have said, the instructions that come with it are not the easiest to understand. I am normally very practical and shouldn’t have been fazed by the poor installation instructions but I came a cropper at one point because it isn’t obvious that the channels that you attach to the walls at each side are different sizes. They look identical but there is a crucial difference which only becomes apparent when you start to add the doors. Luckily I was able to swop them over before the silicone had set. Apart from that I am well pleased with the result and would recommend this product.

Update======There are few things that I don't like and one why I'm giving it 1 star only:- there are NO door seal replacement available at all! these are quite unique and no other hardware store sell them- the middle bifold door seal is broken since nearly the installation, it pops up and Dreszcze not work properly- the top roller lock ...broker within few months tolThe lack of door seal replacement makes it unusable and I need to be replace door now. It means that there is no sense in buying it by anyone as ...you'll have the same issue sooner or later. It will cost less money and less hassle to find a different option.Previous Comment:I've got one of these for myself and they seem very good. They look good, are solid and operate well, however the 4 starts are given because of poor instructions. The instructions are all pictorial, but not clear and make it more difficult than expected. Obviously we had issues with the installation due to those poor instructions.

I didn't fit this so can't comment on how easy it was, but the guy who did fit it didn't swear and seemed to figure it out. I've had it since March and it's great. It is good quality, still feels stable, makes sure water doesn't get anywhere it shouldn't and looks really elegant. It was incredibly good value for money, I'm really pleased with it.

Really great door but as everyone has said the instructions are an absolute nightmare. Such a shame. I am DIY proficient and struggled assembling to door. You would think looking back through the reviews the manufacturers would have addressed this. The insctruction on their web are the same as those in the box. Prehaps a video tutorial on their web would prove useful..Some tips.1.only fix the hinge side wall braket to the wall at the start. Drill the holes and put in the raw plugs for the second bracket but do not fix to wall until the end. Use white tube at the end to hold screws whilst you fix the 2nd wall bracket in place.2.DO NOT TRIM THE CENTRE SEAL. It appears too long but the excess fits in the centre hinges - not shown on instruction's3.The 2 small brackets that hold the door in the closed position and attach to the centre hinge took a bit of working out - use the small Allen key to undo the screw in the side of the centre hinge. Then put the clip brass ring down from the top and lock in place by retightening the screw. You can how adjust the height of the clip by using the larger Allen key..The price and quality are great but prepare to be assembling for a while.

Looks OK not the best quality as water splashes out from under the door. Design is not the best assembly instructions rather poor the video the instructions recommended would be better if they actually spoke and told you the assembly steps door seal on hinge side takes a lot of manipulation to provide a seal would not recommend as I feel it to be of inferior quality.
