Awesome lens
K&F is rapidly becoming a major player in the photography accessory industry and is now a brand I can trust and look-out for.IN a recent trip to Italy I was using my Sony A7C coupled with a F1.8 prime lens but soon found that even with a very fast shutter images were completely blown-out. With this lens you can reduce light input even in bright light. This lens is VARIABLE… meaning you can keep this attached in all conditions too! This feels very well made. This is an awesome kit which includes a lens-cap and cleaning cloth.. awesome! At 20 quid RRP this is a great purchase

The Lens Cap is a Bonus!
Usually, I say you get what you pay for, but you definitely get more for your money here. The filter is ok. Not as high quality as others but for a budget filmmaker it does the job.The one thing that bugs me is when I get filters, you never have a lens cap to cover it, so you are taking it on and off all day. Well, you don't need to worry here. So if you are filming a wedding etc this is great.Point, shoot, cover it up move on. repeat. For less than £30, it's fantastic.4****

Absolutely solid choice from K&F Concept
I will say at the outset that I'm a huge K&F Concept fan. I think they're bringing amazing technology and photo/video accessories to market and I've never once had a bad experience with any of their items so you know it's a brand to trustThis variable ND filter is another example of how to put together a cracking product that is useful, has everything you need, and offers great value with an ND2-ND400 filter in the package along with a lens cap and cleaning cloth too.The fact this filter goes all the way up to 400 is a game changer. A really fantastic way of shutting out the light enough to use wide open lenses in the brightest of days with easeIt's very well constructed, feels strong and solid, attaches easily, and has no real colour changing aspects to the pictures you will getThe lens cap is a bonus as it offers protection for your new filter tooThe results I've been getting with this filter are not just really great but fun too as it opens up a myriad of new shooting opportunities in brighter sunlight, and when used for video you can get a natural motion blur by turning up the ND values a little until you have it nailedI keep saying it but K&F Concept are now one of my favourite brands and this is just another example of how they do things brilliantly well.Great product

Smooth video transitions
Using this variable ND filter has significantly improved my landscape photography. It allows for smooth video transitions and better control over light exposure. The lens cap and cleaning cloth included make it easy to maintain. It’s a great addition to my camera gear, enhancing the quality of my shots.

Useful piece of kit
This product comes in a plastic wrapped cardboard box that encloses a plastic case which houses a 'cap keeper', the filter and the lens cap, together with a separately wrapped lens cleaning cloth. I personally think that it is a little overpackaged for what you get, but that is my opinion. Now to the quality of what you get:1: The 'cap keeper' - this seems pretty pointless to me and, in my hands at least, is not likely to make any difference to whether I would lose the cap or not.2. The cleaning cloth - always useful, although I have kept this fully wrapped at this stage until I need it, so I cannot really comment on the quality of it until I come to actually use it.3. The plastic case - This is a good quality box that is robust and comes with padding to keep the lens and cap secure.4. The filter - This is quite weighty compared to other filters. The mechanism turns very easily (although not so easily that your setting might change by accident) and the glass is clear and free from imperfections. The build of this filter feels very good. I have not used this type of filter before and I feel that it will take some practice to identify when it is best to use it.5. The lens cap - this fits the filter perfectly and the unclip mechanism is both tight enough and easy enough to remove at the same time.A very good quality product.

Well made, couple of limitations
As you would expect from K&F, this is a very well made ND filter. The lens glass appear to be defect free and there does not appear to be any discernable colour cast from the filter from what I can tell. The only two minor points I would make are:- the markings on the side of the filter are simply dots and do not indicate the ND or stop at any particular position. The dots are also evenly spaced which will not match the filter effect which will be non-linear.- the filter freely rotates through 360 degrees rather than having stops at either end of the 90 degree ND range rotation. It is therefore easy to overshoot the maximim and minimum stops. These two shortcomings are only likely to affect you if you are shooting with calculated exposures, though, and if you are simply using the filter to extend the shutter speed with a metered shot you shoudl be fine.

if you are shooting videos outside with a low aperture you defiantly need one of these
i buy k&f ND filters for all of my favorite lens it is a must if you want that beautiful bokeh and this is the first ND i bought with a lens cap and it is a game changer i don't know why nobody else offers that and i don't use the leash that came with the cap i just put the cap back in the plastic case the ND came with

Appreciate filter cap!
Great filter! Also has a filter cap which makes it so much easier to just put it on a lens and leave it on.Great quality, as always. I had another filter for my 85 mm lens CPL&ND and I’m happy with both!Recommended!

Perfect
The variable ND filter came in a case and in a box. It fits my lens perfectly with my Nikkor Z lens, 24-120 mm, f/4. The threads are perfectly pitched, turns and tightens smoothly. It has a lens cap which came handy in some situations. I'm using it for capturing that blur during daytime, or time lapse photography.

Good product, good value
What I really like about a variable ND is the convenience of use when shooting video. This is a filter that offers a very wide range of adjustment for controlling exposure making the need to change filters almost disappear. A variable ND is completely stepless so you can dial in exactly what you need, no more, no less. This is done fast and efficiently with only a partial rotation of the front ring. The ring turns smoothly and is also damped very well offering enough resistance that it will not move from where you set it unintentionally. A very big plus. I've used looser rings on other filters and just a little walking can move them in some cases. This filter is completely neutral in color regardless of the density selected there is no color shift. Good quality glass, not the best out there but also a significantly lower price here. There are levels to glass and lenses. KF Concepts seems to offer a good balance between perormance and price where it performs a little better than the price would lead you to believe. Recommended
