Saved another microwave from the trash heap
My 4 yr old Sharp Carousel microwave started doing that Frankenstein electrical sparking thing, which is enough to scare the crap out of you. My last microwave that did that went straight into the trash & I bought this one. This time instead of trashing it, I YouTubed it & learned this little waveguide is replaceable, for about $12 on Amazon! WHO KNEW! Well at least I didn’t. Even though my model # wasn’t listed it still fit perfectly & came with the little plastic plugs. Microwave now works great & no more Frankensteining!

Fits Sharp Carousel microwaves as well. Works perfectly.
I got this as my old waveguide was arcing on the side of my Sharp Carousel microwave and putting on a brilliant fireworks show with loud electric arc sounds. I found this one that looked to be the right one for my microwave. It measures just slightly smaller than the waveguide in my Sharp microwave, about 1mm smaller in both directions, but it still works fine. It is slightly thicker than the old one in my microwave. That being said, it installed quickly and easily. I crossed my fingers and fired up the microwave. As impressive as the fireworks show was, there was thankfully none once the replacement was done.So if this one lasts as long as the original, I should be able to get at least another 7 or 8 years of use out of the microwave before it dies on me and I have to spend a whole lot more on a new one. A great $12 investment as my wife was absolutely certain the microwave was toast before this fixed the issue.

Fixed my Sharp Carousel microwave
Amazing that this little plate replacement fixed my microwave. We were getting sparks like crazy and the old plate had a huge burn mark on it. This cover fit my Sharp Carousel perfectly. Thanks

Perfect fit
These were the perfect fit after my microwave started sparking. Love how it comes with the plastic snap in screws/clips to hold it in place. Because when you take the old one out, the plastic breaks.
