Very big! But also very strong
I hadn’t fully realised how big this was! Check dimensions… I didn’t!However, once up it’s been great. Very strong and I can fit 3 wash loads on it!

Sturdy and a good size.
Surprisingly easy to install. The line space is good and is strong. You may struggle if you are short of stature, I am 5'6" and I have to stretch to use the outer line on the lowest setting but other than that it's a great piece of equipment.

Live this clothes line!
Easy to install. Lots of lines so can dry a couple of loads at the same time. Happy with my purchase and it is easy to install.

Great but hard to install
I went for a more sturdy looking air dryer as I want this to last. However installing it myself and digging a deep hole for it to fit in was a struggle. Need to right tools.

Lots of capacity but poor design
The design of this dryer is very strange. On every other rotary washing line I've owned, the top spins independent of the pole and is strung with a single length of line. The entirety of this one rotates in the ground spike and the line is in separate lengths held in with small bits of metal. As a result, after 16 months of use, the whole thing is now leaning at an angle as the dryer jiggling back and forth has enlarged the spike hole and four of the lines have broken. I've repaired them using some garden wire (or MacGyvering as we call it in our house) but it was very annoying to do and has made those lengths of line so taught that I can no longer put the dryer up to it's highest setting leaving all of the other lines slack. Given how much it cost, I'm very unimpressed.

I'm glad I picked this one from the many offered
What's to say? This is a quality product, well made and sturdy. Okay, I know that Brabantia is more expensive than other makes but, after my last rotary washing line was snapped off at ground level by particularly strong winds, I decided to get something a bit more robust. This fits the bill. The first thing I noticed when I unpacked it (apart from rejoicing in the fact that no assembly was needed) was that the main upright pole had a larger diameter than my last one, was taller and silvery chromed (or stainless steel, maybe). It comes with a plastic strap to keep the arms flush to the central pole when storing the washing line. It also comes with a heavy duty plastic ground holder: this was ideal because I already had a concrete base to put it in. I had a slight problem there because of the Brabantia's bigger diameter pole as I had put a metal spike in the hole to hold the thinner pole of my previous washing line. Fast forward through much swearing and the deployment of a jemmy and wrecking bar to get the spike out of the hole (rewarded by a gigantic slurp at the end as it came free) and I put the plastic thingy down the hole and put my new washing line in it. The bottom of the pole is sealed with a plastic cap, so that sits in the bottom of the (now) plastic hole and means that the whole thing rotates really easily. The arms go up umbrella style and there is a reassuring bit of effort needed to get it to lock but it is worth the effort as the whole thing seems built to last and strong. The washing line is well tensioned and hopefully that means the outer ring won't sag like it did on my last one. It is quite high at the lowest setting but I was able to reach to attach washing (I'm about 5" 9'). As I intend to take the line in after use I was pleased to see a bit at the top where I could attach it to a hook in my shed to save space and stop it falling down. Oh, I should also have said that the arms also have plastic hooks on the end where you secure coat hangers or maybe those holders for 'delicates'. It's only a washing line but sometimes it's the little things in life that make your day easier and I think this is one of them. Well worth the extra investment!
