I must admit, half way thru the bottle and the verdict is still out on Botanical Hearth's Peppermint Shampoo. It smells nice and father's kind of well. (A little thin of sorts...you know, not super luxurious, but well enough. That might be because of the coconut oil.) The quality is good, but not great. It does not leave flakes, residue or any bad stuff. I was a bit surprised with it being peppermint oil, it does not leave a tingling feeling on my scalp. Over all, this is fairly healthy shampoo with a limited number of non-nature made ingredients. It was packaged and shipped well without any problems or leaks.

I’ve been reordering this product and like how good my scalp feels and my hair looks. Its growing fast has gotten thicker and shiny. Been using for 8 months. Will continue using.

We recently tried the shampoo/conditioner combo and the set was ok overall, but my better half likes the shampoo more than the conditioner, so we got additional bottles of the shampoo. To me, the shampoo has a pretty strong tea tree smell instead of a peppermint, which I would have preferred. I am not sure if this is because this product has sat too long on the shelf or the brand has inconsistent quality control standards. It does have a minty sensation on the scalp when put on and seems to lather well. The shampoo seems to clean well. The quality of the shampoo is ok. I think this is a bit expensive for shampoo though. 4 stars

Shampoo is yellow white watery liquid. It brings back unpleasant images. Deducted one star. Shampoo is mild and does a good job of not drying out my hair, scalp might be better too. Hair feels clean and has good body. Was expecting it to have a peppermint fragrance but is fragrance free.
