I’ve been using this OKESAM metal detector for a little while now, and honestly, I’m impressed with how much you get for the price. Right out of the box, it was easy to assemble and felt solid—not cheap or flimsy like some entry-level detectors. The rechargeable battery is a huge plus. I don’t have to keep buying batteries, and it lasts long enough for full days of searching. The LCD display is clear and easy to read, even in sunlight, and I like how it gives you an idea of what type of metal you’re over. It helps save time and makes digging more worthwhile. The detector is also lightweight, so my arm doesn’t get tired quickly, and the adjustable length makes it comfortable to use. I’ve used it in parks and around older properties, and it has good sensitivity. It picks up coins and smaller items better than I expected. The waterproof coil is great too, especially if you want to search near creeks or wet ground. The included backpack, shovel, and headphones make it feel like a complete kit, especially for beginners. Overall, this is a great metal detector for beginners and even intermediate users. Whether you’re doing it for fun, exercise, or hoping to find something valuable, this is a great place to start. So far so good , found silver , zinc, copper, no gold yet but I'm working on it!!! Really impressed by this detector. It will have different tones over different metals. If you listen close enough ,you will begin to recognize the metals by the tones it lets out. You will not even have to look at the detector . And the PP mode is awesome for pinpointing an object to dig or even if it's in the surface. I'm learning more and more with this everyday. Video to come once I get comfortable with it. Thank you .

This item is great, but the delivery person left it out side my gate in full view , was supposed to leave inside gate at front door. I am lucky no one took it

As arrived, box is professional and descriptive Out of the box, detector is solid but light weight and comes with loads of features and extras. Included in the box is the unit itself, noise cancelling headphones (wired), carrying case, and metal shovel with detachable handle, serrated edge, and carrying case The detector itself has 3 lengths through the expandable handle that are small enough for a child, to large enough for a 6ft person Features allow for 6 different types of metal/object detecting with modifiable sensitivity for each Additionally, if searching a large area, you can program for only certain types of metal – for example, searching the yard and knowing there are lots of old bolts/nails, I can remove the iron setting and, instead focus more on gold/silver/nickel in my search for old coins Sensitivity is excellent – testing showed readings beyond 12” under the ground in my testing but lots of triggers. It will take some time to learn the directional specifications of the head in order to best pin-point object location Testing also showed 9/10 on all the objects my kids hid in a small area with a small nut being the only one I was unable to locate – this might be where a handheld style detector would be a good pairing Overall, I couldn’t be happier as this device came in extremely handy in locating my walled lost in a tilled field – I was able to locate it only with a toonie left in the back bill portion tilled over 8 inches into the soil. Awesome kit, great device, highly recommend!

This has been great to play around with! Ive always been curious if there's anything metallic in my back yard, so I got this to see if I could find anything. Not looking for buried treasure or anything, but like the usual stuff - coins, old nails, bits of discarded metal that could eventually surface and cause some damage, thst sort of thing. So far I haven't really found anything, but it does work. It comes with a little backpack you can collapse everything down into for storage and transport. The length is adjustable so you can customize that to your height as well. The screen is really easy to read and operation is really straightforward. I initially tested it on one of my walls in the house and it was able to identify the screws in the drywall and even where there was some wiring running along the wall to an outlet. It can be a bit finicky, and the headphones aren't the greatest, but everything works. The only downside is that there's a lot of plastic on this, so I can see that cracking and breaking a lot sooner than if more of the parts were metal, or even thicker plastic. Overall not too bad! Fun to play around with and get out to do some exploring! Give it a shot, you never know what you'll find out there!

Complete kit even with a backpack and headphones for finding various kinds of metal with different notification modes. Worked in the yard and I cant wait to take it to the beach and look for treasures! Pretty comfortable to hold, decent ui, easy enough to assemble and take down. Reliable at tracking coins im sure it works great for other things too.

This metal detector does work well it’s a fun set. It’s a good hobby to get into. Everything fits in the backpack that’s included so you can carry it wherever you’d like. My only issue is the volume scales. The volume gets very loud and stays loud. quickly even through the headphones. Not for indoor use.
