It's a good kit, not cheap junk
It is solid. It's not going to bend or break. This is quality and I will probably get another one for my other emergency bag. Have to stock up on emergency supplies while we still can.

Close to USGI
The parts and pieces are pretty good. Steel rod sections almost exactly like the original. Flip handle same. Brushes are good quality. If not exactly like the original military issue kit, no big deal. The only thing not up to quality is the bag. It's not the same material or color as original, but seems durable. It's not stamped U.S. The stitching is sub-par and probably won't endure a lot of heavy daily use like in the military, but for occasional use, it's fine. Could have done without the cheap gear clip on the bag. We always cut them off anyway. I'll put some CLP in the provided bottle and see if it leaks, but keep it in a small ziploc anyway. No idea what kind of patches came in this kit. I'll try them to see how they work, but they're kind of weird. Will probably just add some cloth patches to the bag. Hopefully, it will fit in my A1 stock compartment.I'm sure they're exactly the same as all the other Chinese brands here, so just get whatever one is cheaper.

Not too shabby
I didn’t have high expectations but I was happily wrong on it being crap. It’s just solid and does work. Not too shabby.

Great for the price, emergency use only
I bought a couple to put in my hunting vehicles, and the only thing they will be used for is in case of emergency, clearing mud out of a barrel or the like. There are much better cleaning sets out there for regular maintenance, but I'd rather have one of these decent clones of the GI kit in the truck when I need it, than have a great set up sitting useless on the bench at home.I screwed the rod sections together, and they lined up okay.

Does the job well, just be patient with rifled barrels.
The cleaning kit was exactly what I needed for my old .22 rifles. it is long enough to go through the barrel and the right size for getting a pad all the way through. Several things to be aware: 1. Take your time with a rifled barrel - a pad will get snagged mid way and may require some turning to get it all the way through; 2. the pieces like to unscrew during movement - this is annoying and another reason to take your time; 3. the handle is just a fold out piece of hollow metal - if you push or pull too hard, it could come off. With time, patience, and getting used to the kit, it works quite well and the portability of it is a bonus, especially with the belt pouch.

Haven't used it yet *updated*
It appears to be a pretty nice kit. **I've used this kit heavily for a while now it's worth the price **
