This thing is great. Makes it very easy to program every ip camera I’ve encountered. My only suggestion would be to spend a little more and get the one that supports hd analog cameras. Other than that, this tool is amazing and makes jobs so much easier.

This is amazing hardware it has allowed me to test IP cameras and configure them without having to go to the computer. It’s a wide variety of inputs although I wish it supported analog. I do have a small converter I can take along with me. It seems to work, although you don’t have the configuration options at that point This thing has so many features and I’m wondering what I’m missing because the instructions are absolutely awful but the hardware is really good with nice build quality and decent battery life. This thing has made setting up and testing cameras way easier.You kinda have to go out there on your own and figure out what it can do. I wish there was an easier way to get a full list of its features and capabilities. This is not for the average consumer. Maybe if you watched a lot of YouTube videos about it, but I am Getting a lot of utility out of this and it has become a permanent part of my IT tool kit.Just running a portable android tablet with a ton of awkward connectors and converters before there’s a much easier way to go with this dedicated device.

This device quickly allows you to activate and configure cameras including changing the ip address without the need of a computer. It does a lot more than this, but this is the main thing I use it for.Don't expect a lot of directions with this, you will need to be somewhat "tech savvy" in order for this to be a useful tool.

Battery failed often even when not exposed to extreme temps cold or hot hot

When its to come ip cameras its perfect there's a lot of pre-installed app on it but cant access the app store... i dont even know if i factory rest it if will be able to get back the app that was pre-installed....

The camera tester worked great.However, the holding strap is not secure so the tester can slip form your hands.

This turned out to be more complicated than I thought. I had to get an expert to help me out. it works great to setup cameras and Ip addresses as needed without a computer. So I stay with the basics for now. Going to be learning more on the go but for now it works good, good quality product, sturdy enough to withstand some beating.
