Pretty but flawed
It is a pretty item. However for 300£ it came with too many issues:1) a scratch on the curved wooden support piece.2) a crack right on the equator.3) the "map" ,which it turns out is a very thin layer of plastic that hugs the globe, has bubbled up on the North Pole and4) the South pole as well. ( See photos)I wouldn't mind one or maybe two of these but 4 seems a bit much.At least the light works and the little wheels turn ok (after I oiled them)

The pefect globe!
Absolutely brilliant love it. It is second hand and has a tiny tear in the Artic Ocean! but otherwise is perfect. Good size, good colour and easy to read, in fact the envy of my friends
