What's good about using a pastry fork to eat a cake as opposed to using fingers and taking a big bite? Well for a start - hands and fingernails don't get covered in sugar and cream. Lipstick stays in place, and the cake is deposited IN the mouth and not ON the mouth. The viners set of six pastry forks are superb value for money, they are good quality, a nice classic design, dishwasher safe and the 'cutting' side of the fork has dealt very well with any cakes and pastries that I've tried. A pastry fork really does bring a whole new dimension to the enjoyment of a lovely cake or pastry, and I'm delighted with my purchase.

I always seem to lose these little forks and they are perfect arrived on time and good quality.

No one buys cake forks because they need them, so it's great when they look good and do the job, which these do. Simple clean design, shinier than the photo shows. Came in a box. There are some comments about them being small for dessert forks. That's because they aren't dessert forks, they are cake forks, about the size of a teaspoon. They are light, but not sure why anyone would want them to be heavy. Happy cake eating
